You said Zidane won’t be here for long, sounds like you’re insinuating we’re not doing well under him.

    Another stupid post.

He is enthusiastic about Rodrygo. He is enthusiastic about Valverde. He is enthusiastic about Mendy.

You people are absolutely miserable. He can't play everybody, keep all of our veterans in form and win every match 5-0 at the same damn time.

    Shit

Looking forward to him being the one with the most managed games, he is doing an excellent job, hes turned the team around and resuscitated a lot of players whom most of us thought were done for, from Kroos to Isco, very happy for him and us.

Don't get mad at me because your posts consists of misguided anger, nonsense or misinformed hot takes.

Zidane deserves all the credit for turning this around, he's implementing his vision. I had my doubts about him early in season, but this team has looked completely different the past 2 months or so.

Big test coming up to close the year. It'll truly show the progress we have made.

Integrating Fede into the starting lineup did the trick. Since Fede is part of the first choice the team looks transformed, gave the old midfield wings and everybody around him better. We still have individual mistakes in defense to work out but Fede proved to be a solution we desperately needed.

Zidane has done more than just inserting Fede into the line up and hoping for the best.
The team’s attitude has completely shifted, the likes of Kroos now track back for 90 minutes , something most of us thought was impossible at this point, he managed to motivate players who we thought were just not worth the time anymore and needed to be moved on.
Tactically we also look much more sound, we actually look like a team as opposed to 11 individuals out there these days.

You mean Zidane is, because while every one of us were saying Zidane was crazy to attempt to recover Kroos, Isco, Marcelo, etc.. while selling Llorente and loaning Ceballos.

He ignored all of us, went with his gut on Valverde and developed him to what we see today.

Oh i wasnt taking a shot at zidane

Im talking about actual on the field impact. The difference maker has been Fede. And i don't know about developed him lol. Fede has always played this way for his clubs and country.

The other coaches were just dummies. Zidane is no dummy and him playing Fede might be the reason we win something

Still, we get a one-two punch knockout vs Valencia and Barca and all this "he recovered all of them!" happiness will go out the window and the team will have a very bumpy holiday break.

We've improved a lot but we didn't beat PSG despite being in the position to do so. I feel like we didn't fully pass that test.

We'll see what shape we are in January. We've been smacked down hard right when we thought we were back before, so I'm still optimistic, but cautious.

I knew you weren't. That was a subliminal lol.

It was Zidane who put him in this position and his development over the last 9 months has been stratospheric so Zidane gets that credit.

Hindsight is why you say the other coaches were dummies. We all were dummies because none of us saw Fede like Zidane did.

We all were either confused or enraged Zidane came back and gave Fede all these minutes while trying to recover Marcelo, Kroos and Isco.

We all were confused or enraged Llorente and Ceballos weren't getting their minutes.

Even when Valverde turned the corner earlier this season we had people still say they don't see it or he only had a good performance here or there; nothing worthy of the praise he was getting or Zidane picking him over others.

This is why I credit Zidane. Also mainly because it makes some angry because they are against the man and desire his failure.

IMO we still need someone to consistently score goals, the team is playing relatively well as a unit, Benz has done his job scoring so far , but I still think we kind of get lost once we get into the area and we have to make too many chances to score one goal,

it’s good that we are getting goals from all over the park but I think we need at least one player ( other than Benz) to be fairly prolific in order to actually win trophies this season, one more player has to get to at least 18 or so goals ( maybe even more) that’s my thought , at this point I don’t see that player , it’s my biggest concern still, maybe whoever it is will emerge soon and be really prolific into the second half of the season which would be terrific for us

We improved drastically regardless. But true, it is a thin line between euphoria and muy triste. Mostly because of two issues:

    1. Lack of goal scoring besides El Grande Benzema.
    2. Lack of Casemiro / Valverde back-ups.

    That shit worries me substantially.

Yeah we're a thin line away from disaster.

Especially with Casemiro and Valverde. We need them to somehow remain healthy.

That fact is lacking a bit of context.

    1. Benzema is on pace to have the best statistical season in his career. He is comfortably on pace to score over 30 and possibly even get to 40.

    2. While he may have half of our G/A, we are scoring more and conceding less overall. At this point last season, we had only a +4 goal difference. We currently have a +21 goal difference this season.

But yes, we need one of our wingers to get into the double digits in goals.
