Meh Barca has been lackluster as well I wouldn't be surprised if we had beat them. I for one hate the reschedule. I think zidane could have designed a plan to beat them as he did vs sevilla and atletico
Man it feels weird watching everyone else play. I know it was good for injury recovery But i miss the team.
somehow i dont this weekend. very sunny good weekend, we are playing bad, doubt would be any good result in El Clasico, so time to keep good mood.
About Madrid's system: we're playing a 433 in attack that transitions quite quickly into a 4231 and then 4141....Casemiro is always deepest patrolling on the counter, while the first to push up is the right sided CM who acts as a ball carrier option and then goes up to become a— Ali (@Redondizou) October 27, 2019 Interesting read of the "system" Zidane has in place. I recommend you check out the thread if you have the time. Main take out for me is this: "Zidane works much more with shapes and positioning and not as much on 'system' per-se in that he does not believe in building in automatisms to enable players to attack....compare that to say Pep who does exactly the opposite but building very very rehearsed and specific passing moves to build his plays. Hence over at Madrid, things will only start to get better when the individual level of the players gets better."
Zidane main current take seems to do a lot of crosses tbh. But without Ron in the box, it doesn't work as weel as before.
👔🔝 #Zidane attended the @UEFA Elite Coaches' Forum! #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/Y0ooVPcFSN— Real Madrid C.F. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 (@realmadriden) November 12, 2019 Is it just me or is Zidane always the most badass looking guy in the room?
I remember watching WC final in 2006 and all the ladies being very attracted to Zidane. Football aside, he's a very good looking guy.
My daughter has coaches that in some cases look like they could step on the pitch and play for 90 minutes and others look like they need an A1C check. She responds better to the ones that look match ready. Zidane's fitness probably has a positive impact on the level of respect he enjoys with players.
German Burgos came to mind. The first time I noticed him charging onto the field next to Simeone. I thought he was some other guy with the same name. He was never good looking, but his transformation is just speechless.
Zidane: "No entrenaría a otro equipo en España. Yo soy blanco, hombre. Eso lo tienes o no".— Arancha Rodríguez (@AranchaMOBILE) November 22, 2019 I would not coach another team in Spain.
Kinda obvious. Juventus and France. Perhaps PSG or EPL later. Anything but another club in Spain. Who tf would he coach? Getafe?
Hazard: "During Euro 2016 Zidane told me, 'It would be good if you came'. And when Zidane calls you it's hard to say no. I'm serious. It does something to you. He loves his players and you feel that the dressing room is happy to have him as a coach." pic.twitter.com/vKAOmpEPq4— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) November 24, 2019
This is what his haters don't understand. Regardless if we win a trophy or not this seasom there is no coach more perfect for Madrid than Zidane.
After watching the team last season and the start to this season, i thought trophies were out of reach. But now i don't see why not. This seems like a down year for the major teams all throughout Europe so we could win any or all of the trophies. I'm very optimistic right now
Barcelona and Atletico sucking for La Liga. Pretty much every team except Liverpool looking shaky UCL wise.
They don’t look so great either. They’re winning games in the premier league, but sometimes off questionable refereeing and late goals. They are champions and have that experience, but people are ready to throne them in the UCL too and I don’t think they’re as lethal as years past
The next three months are going to decide our season for a large part. We have PSG, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, as well as some potential tricky games like Getafe and Athletic Bilbao. We're then going into February against Atleti. We make it out of that run in a good situation and we have good chances to win.
Boss literally said I'm in love with Mbappe, and then when asked whether Mbappe is in love with Real Madrid he said well he came here for a trial so many years ago. Leonardo is fuming rn
I'd honestly be shocked if Zidane is here long enough to even manage Mbappe. I wish he was as enthusiastic about the young guys we have in the squad who he barely plays though
