Guess we're happy with the 0-3.

PS: The Argentine commentators poking fun at Roldan and the Plasti-Ball effect he imbued to that lob.

I was about to complain about the lack of shots on target (6 now), right before Sargent scored. Nice finish!

Sure, but is it worth mentioning 4x in one broadcast?

    That helps Sargent's night.

Nice touch by Boyd. But we still look mediocre in the second half.

Someone in Argentina watches the USA? I had no idea!

I thought US Soccer wasn't "good" enough for South Americans...

OMG can we please get a shot here. And just as I type this Sargent scores. Still our passing in the final 1/3 is terrible. Crossing poor. We do not look good here and Cuba is a poor team

Eleven of us in this forum would give Cuba a game.

    Oh, sure...when we don't NEED goal differential, it's run-it-up-Herman-leave-no-doubt... :)

Cannon has looked sharper than Yedlin, IMO. I get that Yedlin is coming back to full fitness, but Cannon might be a better fit for the team.

You'd be surprised. There's a stream in Arabic from Egypt covering this game, too. People who love soccer watch everything they can.

Yeah, poor field doesn't excuse poor crosses.

Fantastic, Beerholder bringing on the big guns for Yedlin.

Also, i'm kicking myself for missing this live. Few things in life are better than Cuban Rum, Cuban Cigars and Cuban football....c'mon cubiches, get Ream his reverse goal. Keep the dream alive.

I can't agree with that now, but Cannon has 7 months at club level to change my mind.

2020 is going to be a huge year for him.

Considering how so-called soccer fans from other parts of the world routinely shit all over us about our national team, our country's fan culture, and constantly correcting us about the word soccer (vs football), it actually is surprising.

I'm just talking about recent national team performances, I think Yedlin's looked very good at Newcastle considering his fitness.

I buy that he's looked better for the national team recently, but until Cannon matches Yedlin's club-level performances over a sustained period, I'm going to keep the faith with Yedlin as the US RB.

Sargent works pretty damned hard on the defensive side of things.
