These assistant referees are amazingly terrible. Did they pick them off the street?

That's good to hear - but it's really hard to believe this was the next best option.

This is bonkers. Is someone betting on over for # of offside calls?

He's had a bad career with the NT so far, but on xg/a he'd probably have a few. It may generally be a reflection of impotence, but it's been married with bad luck also.

Cuban CB gambles and loses. Morris scores.

Morris really has had a phenomenal season.

He's a lock starter for me at the moment. I never thought I'd say that.

Our best player is Jordan Morris. Pretty amazing that he is showing up game after game.

Even with a team as discombobulated and unskilled as Cuba, the US just does not show confidence when trying to build out of the back. The shape of the 2 CBs and the CDM is just so easy to press against.

Regardless if true, doesn't change the point. He can't control if a teammate makes an open shot in and around the box. Assist is not as good of a stat as key pass because it doesn't account for the uncontrollable. W/ the # of key passes and shots into the post or deflected on the way thru, unlucky not to be on 1 goal, 2 assists or something to that effect. His issues have more been defensively and in possession.

We manage to look disorganized no matter how pathetic the opposition. This has to stop.
