Wow. That is a major mistake for Tottenham. He'll be in high demand, although I hope he takes a break until the summer.
Hope not. There is still every chance Zidane doesn’t last the season and if he does just until the summer. Poch needs to wait this out and take a deserved break.
He should’ve done a Zidane and left on a high after the final. He didn’t have that foresight. It was going to be difficult to get that level from that group again especially when you have important players like Eriksen immediately saying they wanted out
Weird move in November... I think Pochettino got even more Spurs had, 5,5 years and time to move on. OK, but still November.. you cant find better replacement now.
The way it's been handled shows that the JL situation wasn't all because of Madrid this and that... The federation is a joke.
I knew this was going to be his last year but i'm surprised Spurs sacked him this soon. Despite these past few months, he'll be a hot commodity this summer. I'll be the one to say it though. I hope we are at least interested this summer if we don't win anything.
Spurs are crazy to sack him. Now they will be back to AVB era type disaster most likely and more players will leave the club after Eriksen. Won't be surprised if Utd sack Ole soon and get Poch.
Jose Mourinho is a serious contender for the Tottenham manager's job, Sky Sports News understands.— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) November 19, 2019
Although I think Poch actually needs to “win” something ( even the Carabao cup or whatever it’s called would have done ), Poch for Moo in this day and age, good luck to Spurs with that
José Mourinho is the favourite to get Tottenham job. Totally confirmed 😉 Daniel Levy decision will arrive soon. Massimiliano Allegri is NOT on the list at the moment. ⚪️ #THFC #Spurs #Tottenham— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) November 19, 2019
Sucks for Poche, he's a good coach but he had a horrible season after the final. I don't think it's fair for him to get the big share of blame when Levy constantly refused to get him the player he wants.
RMC's @mohamedbouhafsi: "Daniel Levy & Mauricio Pochettino's relationship was very difficult this summer. Pochettino wanted to reinvest following a great year in the Champions' League & Levy did not want to reinvest. This has to be 1 of the reasons behind tonight's news."— Get French Football News (@GFFN) November 19, 2019
