Don't put too much stock in these youth cups, guys. Even if we had won it, the majority of these kids will be average domestic level players in the pros. We'll be fortunate if we send one or two to Europe and thrive in Europe.

Gomez, Guzman, Pizzuto, and Garcia the standouts of this group. Alvarez is very technically gifted but has too many holes in his game. Galaxy need to work on him physically, the kid can hardly play 60 minutes before getting gassed.

Luna is the one I can’t figure out. He’s been one of the most criticized but IMO he’s shown better things than El Mesmari. Pizzuto is the one they need to dedicate extra everything to. 40 mill transfer waiting to happen.

Alvarez doesn’t look like a guy who’ll make it to the senior level. He didn’t look great against other kids his age and he’s pretty slow. Those other 4 kids did great today.
