Because of what? Performance and commitment to the club has always been the top priority to fans since forever. Not only is Pedja in no way associated with the club, but the fact that the dude faked an injury, the club not only continued to protect him but they also chose not to reveal that the only injury he has is being butt hurt that he was excluded from a squad for the purposes of protecting him from the injuries that he is now faking. But yes, the club is looking bad here.

 

He scored two great goals after his extention, effectively, Florentino must have thought great decision right after the Liverpool final. Its after that where the entire thing collapsed.

We'll probably hear multiple versions of this but I personally think there was definitely a window where he was movable but he wouldn't leave.
