Seems Zidane wasn't lying. Both players either claimed they were fit till the international break or immediately got severly injured as the break commenced.

Terrible how these morons shout the loudest then disperse like trolls under a bridge when the facts get out an reality proves they're even stupider than we originally thought.

 

Confirmed. Both players didn't want risk injury playing for us.

 

I read this was taken out of context. The part in parentheses there (than Real Madrid) he never said.

 

What else could have he been referring to besides Real Madrid? I think it’s clear what he meant.

 

They never asked him to compare anything.. he was just saying how he felt playing with Wales

OK, now i believe he's doing everything he can to get out of this club. I am certain that he's trying to do this in order to get a free transfer.

It's a win-win situation for him. He has no more sporting ambitions (at least not in football) and he's set financially here. He gets paid whether we allow him to leave or let him stay because we ********ed up when we extended his contract. One of the rare Florentino mistakes of this size.

 

I dont see what he said as too controversial tbh. He was on international duty with Wales, and was holding a press conference in Wales in front of Welsh journalists on the build up to a Wales match. In tha mt situation there is a right and wrong answer and it sounds to me like a public figure just saying the 'right' thing in that moment.

He does word it badly though, but then his job is kicking a football, not being a public speaker.

 

It's not just this statement, it's a series of statements now. Personally i hope he never plays for us again.

Even if he doesn't go along well with the coach, he should show some appreciation for Florentino who gave him an extension when he probably shouldn't have done so.

 

I think you focus more on the trolls here than actually on the team we love. YOu should put the trolls on ignore (I have quite a few) and your experience would quickly improve in here.

I can feel you are very frustrated with the quality of the posters here so I'm trying to help. When you put someone on ignore, there isn't even a message saying "this post is ignored" which is annoying I agree. But their posts simply don't show up. It's wonderful. Give it a try. Your posts about trolls all the time are not that good either if you ask me, so that can only improve the forum as a whole.

I don't need to watch any Bale clips to "make up my mind" about him.

There's almost nothing he can say or do at this point to change it. He had to score a game winning bicycle kick in a CL final to win me back over and within the hour he had lost my support again. Seriously, I can't with this guy.

Although the statements in and out of context conform perfectly to the notion that he never settled in or adopted to Spanish culture and his relationship with the club is purely contractual.
