Doc said I should cut down on drinking -- she said it's my job to coach you on healthy habits. My response, "A'int happening."

I keep opening MLSsoccer.com hoping for information about this topic and all I see is something about a game in which the Sounders are playing Michael Bradley.

In all seriousness, I am not against DeLeon getting a win tomorrow.

Goff's article today about Benny being likely to return has an interesting line that suggests that the ownership is looking for an experienced assistant to help Benny do what needs to be done.("Bye Chad!")

Said assistant could be the next head coach in waiting.

So basically they don’t want to pay Ben to not be here.

I'm fine with Ben having better assistants, especially if they are more coach-y than manager-y. Leave Benny to do the manager thing.

If the new people actually replace Chad (and not just add on) and we still do stupid things I might even admit Chad hasn't been the main problem. But not one second before then

Olsen's strength is player ego management. Otherwise keep him away from non-Latino creative players.

Well there’s a guy who has excelled with less money spent on the roster than the teams ownership wanted him to compete with ...

As a West Ham fan, I’m praying he forces Levy to overspend and then leaves the team in ashes 3-4 years down the road, trophyless like the Red Bulls.

Yeah and Ben Olsen still isn't fit to tie Poch's boots. Poch led Spurs to their best ever finish in the EPL era. He took them to the CL final.

He may never have won anything, but he took a squad that doesnt spend money and he got them playing good football, entertaining football. Something Ben cant seem to do.

Ben has a trophy from a tournament where most teams play 2nd and 3rd string players because it doesnt matter.

Poch is the most overrated manager in Football. I was never impressed with his "improvement " of Spurs. 2nd place is first loser, ask Liverpool.

So Austin FC will debut in 2021 with Josh Wolff as head coach, adding yet another alumnus to the number of former DC Unjted players who have joined the coaching ranks. Will he be as good as Vanney; Marsh; Petke; et. al.? More importantly, will he be better than Ben Olsen?

He's on Beerhalter's staff for now. But I won't hold that against him.

Marcello Gallardo rumored to be the next coach at Miami. That guy is a real pro and will do very well. Even though he was injured with DCU in his only season the guy was disciplined and gave it his best every second. I love that he plays attacking soccer. His reputation will attract some great talent too.
