Well at least she did help to finally get Chicago into the Championship Game!

Yes, next year's team will be a totally different team, in my opinion.
I know they have offered and extended contracts, but who is really coming back?

My thoughts and questions going into the off-season after reading about NWSL's new "requirements" is how is the organization is moving forward The requirements on the Clubs in NWSL has been raised, salaries, housing, etc,. Pressure on ownership groups has gone up.
Can Arnim and other single owners sustain this momentum by themselves?

I feel the Red Stars are here to stay in Chicago. They have proven that there is interest. Arnim Whisler is a great owner. I don't know how deep Arnim's pockets are, but will he continue down the road by himself or will he go the route of Predmore in Seattle and bring in more investors?

    Interesting times lay ahead.

Considering the way that Rory has built his roster, I would be surprised if there's high roster turnover. Lots of local and semi-local players, plus it seems like they all basically buy into his system. That said, even with a highly similar roster, I do agree the team will probably play very differently next year simply because Kerr is such a big loss, both in impact and in strategy.

I think Arnim has to bring on more investors, unless the organization can get some seriously sponsorships. I don't know exactly what he's worth or where he gets the money from, but I can't imagine the losses are sustainable with just him much longer.

Well, it is official : Sam Kerr has signed with Chelsea (ENG) for 2.5 year deal ; I will certainly miss her and wish her luck! Cool that she will be playing with three Norwegian players there. Sure, I wish she stayed in Chicago but let her expand her horizons. What about Yuki? We have at least one huge gap to fill (with Kerr's departure) plus if anyone else leaves. Maybe we can pry away someone from NCC . I hope we will not become a "middle of the league standings" type of team in 2020. We have been fortunate to have Press and then Kerr to bring us to the playoffs for five years straight. We shall see.
