Lewa has been the difference. Switch Lewa back to BVB in exchange for BVB's best forward and I think BVB win multiple titles over the last five years.
I've been pretty happy with the time Richards has been getting. Next year I think a loan to a Bundesliga 2 team would be appropriate, if not a low level Bundesliga 1 team. Getting games is super important, but also building up a defenders confidence is important in development.
True. A loan to a Bundesliga 2 team or a Bundesliga 1 team like Mainz or Augsburg would be great for him.
Chris Richards & Derrick Köhn trained with the 1st team. Kimmich is planned at CDM tomorrow. Martínez & Pavard would be the CB duo as Boateng won't play v BVB. The RB position would be vacant. Richards, who is highly rated at the club, could be a surprise inclusion [@Plettigoal] pic.twitter.com/2U27zeSOGJ— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 5, 2019
Flick: "Javi Martínez, Thomas Müller and Joshua Kimmich will all start tomorrow, I won't reveal any more" #FCBOLY pic.twitter.com/pF4TLS5HoZ— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 5, 2019 Hansi Flick confirms that Jérôme Boateng will not play tomorrow as the defense/team has to get used to playing without him ahead of Dortmund. Javi Martínez will start in central defense. pic.twitter.com/G7k6ucmr06— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 5, 2019 So he never said Kimmich would start in the midfield but he did say no Boateng. That leaves Pavard and Javi as the 1st team CBs. It would make sense for the backline to be Alaba Pavard Martinez Kimmich Richards could be on the bench as a reserve. But who knows, new interm coach Flick could put Kimmich in the midfield which would open up the RB spot.
To save everyone the disappointment when they check 1 hour before kick off: Chris Richards and Derrick Köhn will not be in the squad tomorrow despite featuring in training today. Doesn't change the fact that especially Richards is highly valued at the club. Therefore Benjamin Pavard could start at right back tomorrow [@Plettigoal] pic.twitter.com/58tainJp6i— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 5, 2019
a real shame because in my estimation hypothetically making the squad was enough to hypothetically earn him a hypothetical national team callup
Playing Davies probably kept Richards off the team for the moment. Bayern can't play two teen North Americans at the same time. It's either or and Davies is ahead of Richards in experience.
The north America rule could play a part But Davies is actually a part of the first team and has been getting more and more time
If he's just behind whoever is 3rd after Alaba and Martinez-- two world class players-- and Pavard/Davies at fullback-- a World Cup winner on one side and one of the biggest young phenoms in the game on the other-- I'm ok with that
Went the distance today with Bayern Munich II in 2-1 home win. Soccerway had him as the right sided center-back in a back 3.
Lukas Mai also started, with the 33 year old vet filling out the backline. Pretty encouraging stuff for Bayern II.
All touches for defenders can be deceiving, but man I like watching him play. He does a really good job of marking his man instead of ball watching. Pretty composed out of the back, etc.
Kid looks pretty fluid back there. Some really nice moves.... although he should have hit that header in the 1st half on target. Thanks for posting. Wish I could find something similar for Uly Llanez.

Breaking into the1st team at Bayern is very difficult, so maybe next season he can get loaned and see 1st team action.
