New for 2020: Fort Wayne FC (IN) Las Vegas Legends (NV) Muskegon Risers (MI) Valeo Futbol Academy (MA) World Class Premier Elite (MD) Known exits: AFC Ann Arbor (USL2) Asheville City SC (USL2) Detroit City FC (NISA) Chattanooga FC (NISA)
Do we know for sure that DFC & CFC are not going to maintain a NPSL team? Knowing the uncertaincy that D2/D3 football is I would think maintaining their NPSL franchise as a development team might be prudent. With a few doubleheaders thrown in I would think costs would be lower than their current NPSL budgets; I am talking about second teams now, with shared training costs, etc.
No one from DCFC or Chatt has said they are keeping a team in NPSL. They’ve always maintained a careful budget process. Chattanooga even didn’t play NPSL in 2019 to prepare for a pro move. My takeaway is they won’t be fielding an NPSL side in 2020.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry if self promotion is not allowed here but I would love to share an article from our local news. We are part of an initiative to bring a soccer team to our city and we have received great support. The NPSL is one of our targets due to it's accessibility for a grassroots movement like ours. Many big names have signed our petition and we are making great progress. It would mean a lot to us if you could have a look and sign the petition! The article can be found here. https://www.simcoe.com/news-story/9...these-guys-are-making-their-pitch-for-a-team/
