Blind's second yellow was on the rash challenge on Abraham

Yes, the handball red seems harsh. The other one seems fair.
Edit: A yellow for the first foul.

VAR blows. Chelsea arguably have 2 goals they shouldn't.

Blind correctly earns a 2nd yellow for elbowing Puli in the face as he was getting beat.

Veltman earned a very questionable 2nd yellow/PK for a handball in the box which I don't think should have been a handball.

    All in the same sequence

Think it's a penalty. His arm was a bit away from his body, and that shot was ticketed for the goal. Intent should matter less then. But since there's no intent and it wasn't at a doorstep, don't think it's good discretion to give a second yellow. No rule you can't just award the penalty and be done w/ it. IMO Ajax should be down 1 goal and 1 man right now.

Chelsea up 3-0 and by two men since Pulisic moved to the 10. Coincidence? :)

    Was second yellow
Are we sure second Veltman yellow was the handball and not dissent?

He didn't elbow Puli in the face. It was for the lunging challenge just after pushing off Pulisic.

Reece James ties it up at 4 off the corner.

I think it was dissent which I don't blame him for dissenting.

Abramovich is once again the wealthiest man in Russia, since August.

    Just saying.

PS: He's investing in marijuana companies in the USA now. Smart dude.

One the one reply I saw it looked like Blind fouled Puli - ref played on - and in a millisecond - Blind left his feet as the ball squirted away and fouled player. Ref played on again. Played played into the box, draw a penalty. Ref came back and booked blind for second bookable offense. and then booked the offending hand ball - also a second red.

Really need to bring on another attacker and go for the throat here. Or bring on one Kante and free up others to attack more.

It's 1:30 am where I am. But I'm glad I stayed up. How can they not take this one now?

Maybe I'm crazy, but Azpilicueta looked on to me on the replays I saw.

Sounds like Abramovich got a late bet down at tremendous odds!

    Well, 5-4.
edit: nope, VAR says hand ball. I don't see the handball.

All games should be played 11 on 9 then. Maybe have a handicap for the team who spends less.
