Five assists and four goals on a team that is tied for third place in the premier league. That’s damn good.
The only negative is the way the team is allowing goals.

Yup we want CHO to look decent so that Lampard feels comfortable rotating and so Pulisic doesn’t start to feel like the spot is guaranteed.

I’m glad to see Chelsea doing well with Pulisic as major part of it. I don’t like them as a club, but if Pulisic is playing I still want them to win as much as possible. Sad that some here would still prefer Chelsea loses if that means Pulisic isn’t playing CL next season.

If Willian and Pedro leave they would definitely need another winger. Especially since Pulisic and Hudson Odoi are probably both at their best on the left. And while they definitely need a new LB Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma were not even supposed to be the starters and the best ball winning midfielder in the World N'Golo Kante has barely played this season so we will see how their defense looks once Rudiger, Christensen and Kante are all fit.

I know that, so then you were trying to suggest he was #1 all time with a goalkeeper second? Because that is what it says in your post I quoted...

Emerson is their LB and he looks pretty darn good.

They could have an monstrous midfield if Kante can stay fit. Pulisic can only benefit.

Is it just me or does this thread make a roller coaster look like a flat road.

He is going to be great and I believe again for the first time in a long time he may get his shot at playing more like a CAM as soon as Frank gets his game where he needs it. CP is going to keep pressure on both Mount and Odoi.

Some Chelsea fans think he is a revelation in midfield in attack mode. It made me LOL since many of us have thought since the TT days that is where his real destiny lies. He can play a top shelf 7 or 11 but he is a 10.

He has needed to pick up his defensive intensity for some time but Frank made sure he got the message, I think he slacked up ever since the dumbass Stoeger made him play LB one game. I thought since then Bosz, missed WC, Favre, injury , refusal to resign and being treated as a loan player the club got 50 plus millon pounds to take he had lost his luster if you will, but a hat trick and he is back. He appears to be back with a vengeance, enjoying his football again.

It's a fun ride. As American fans we are emotional basketcases right now given the status of our team, but we def appreciate when our guys show out for their clubs and hope that form carries over to the National team.

People here seem to keep trying to make it a Mount vs Pulisic type thing. But, Mount has had the position locked up. He has barely left the pitch for Chelsea this season. If anything Barkley is probably Mount's backup right now and Kovacic might be his backup once Kante is fit again. And I think Lampard really only sees Pulisic as a winger right now. His competition is Hudson-Odoi, Willian and Pedro.

Yea Pulisic starts, Chelsea just tweeted out their starters.

#Chelsea team to play Ajax : Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta (C), Zouma, Tomori, Alonso, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Mount, Pulisic, Abraham

seems pretty clear willian and pulisic are the clear 1st choice wingers for now.

Gotta say I'm surprised by only the one change from the Watford match, but happy to see CP getting the minutes. Christensen and Kante healthy enough for the bench but not for the start? Hudson-Odoi for Willian OR Pulisic makes sense as a sub, but I think one of the wingers might go 90 given this list of available subs.

Double fun for US fans - root for Pulisic to absolutely pants Mazraoui to help his new buddy Dest...

I believe Kante and Christenson both only made one full training session before today's match. They are both probably 20-30 minutes fit at best. I'd expect Kante to come on regardless of score around the 70 minute mark.

Yeah, I was surprised as well by the lack of rotation. Only 1 change from Saturday, and they have Crystal Palace this weekend.

Awesome! CP can get a double brace now!!!

Looks like Dest is getting punished for choosing the US.
