Inevitable at this point. In that midfield trio, Valverde is the player I'm least concerned about giving a rest, but here we are. Militao should have been a no brainer. And after getting the monkey off his back, this should have been a great game to get Jovic a start to build up that confidence. We are not going to win the league with 11 or 12 or 13 players. Every player needs to contribute, and the likes of Militao, Jovic, Vinicius, James, and Isco will have to be heavily involved in the rotation.
You have 0 confidence in Casemiro and Toni? Considering how they have performed so far this season why is that?
This is a team that most of our core pieces has played together for years now. I'm asking for Kroos, Casemiro, Benz, Ramos, and Varane to be rested. You need to give the new guys the confidence and have them comfortable and contributing at a high level so that when you actually need them, they can step in to the starting 11 seamlessly. This is poor squad management.
