I got my money worth out of my Honda in college but 200k later and new clutch, radiator, and AC and it was time to cut bait. We were there two years ago with Bale

Zidane confirmed in the last press conference that he was left out for disciplinary reasons, because Bale arrived late to the team meeting or something against Brugge.

So a Cope journalist spent hours arguing that Madrid fans have always disliked Bale, with Madrid fans. You can't make this up.

I'm glad he's there, considering Hazard has started everything else but incredible, it's good to have options. With the young guys not completely ready yet, a solid Bale season benefits both him and the club.

A moron indeed. Bale was welcomed lovingly. His injuries, introversion his agent and the Spanish press mostly damaged that relationship.

Bale needs a new agent. That guy will end up costing him millions

I honestly can't believe that we didn't make Bale fire him after everything.

Which is only normal. Bale isn't above the grouo and the same expectations for others should be placed on him. If Ramos and Benzema are adhering to rules, he doesn't get to do whatever he wants.

Last thing, how is this bad? We still need to move Bale. Now he seems open to being moved. He has looked great so his value will be higher. Let him continue playing well so hopefully next summer we can get some real offers for him.

Then we move on and he moves on. We thank him for his contributions and maybe Neymar or one of our youngsters takes the reigns.

I think that would be perfect.

Bale is more popular in Madrid than outside of the city. That's the gist of it. He's no more "unpopular" than any other player, but again, after the team sort of managed to recover from the CL fiasco, something new negative has to come up for clicks/listeners/viewers.

It's been about 3 years (15/16) since Bale earned his paycheck.

We may have made our money up front but we've taken a major hit since then.

Not only has he assively underperformed the last 3 seasons but he's taking up a roster spot and wages that would go to someone like Mbappe, Pogba, Neymar, etc.

I agree, if he now wants to leave that is a good thing.. less drama in the next transfer window plus we get to see more of Rodrygo and James..

He also earns too much money for what he delivers on the pitch. It is beyond ridiculous that he earns more than Benzema

I would say the "he's not 'technical' enough for Spain" platitude has been repeated ad nauseum since before he signed.

He's all but useless in any team that doesn't play counterattacking football.

He's completely lost at times when the team does well and dominates possession.

Bale to Eriksen, straight swap, effective right away in winter transfer unless Bale starts scoring boatloads with assists as well. Use some of the budget (plus future expenditures/structured payments) on someone like Bruno Fernandes. He's done at this point, even if Mourinho/whoever comes next year.

Apparently there's a dispute. He says he's injured, club wants to declare him healthy (enough to play). Says a lot about our injury troubles lately.

The club would like him to take painkillers to play or just play even if there is pain involved. So there is not even a disagreement on the matter of the injury, just whether he should be playing through it or not.

He also wants his medical records to be kept a secret and not be released by the club to the public. He went to London to meet with his agent
Marca says he contacted a chinese club to leave in the winter transfer window..

I knew this wasn't going to work out, and its a damn shame.

If Zidane could get Bale and James performing to their best we are a legit title contender in every competition.

We sell those two in the winter and we are fighting for a top four finish again.

If he's really injured then that's one thing but it sure doesn't explain what's going on with James.

Seriously? This again? I thought he liked the playing time he got from zidane. He performed really well, or to be more precise above most of our players.
