This team reminds me of so much of the senior team. Very predictable and slow at making the CORRECT pass.

Going down like that right off the kick off should be an automatic five minutes off the pitch.

 

this is very ugly. we have no ball winners and play unbelievably slow. zero urgency to get the ball back after losing it. Too many passengers and no real sense of team. Endemic across us teams these days frankly

 

Have to re-watch but you know all those times you watched a forward get in the keeper's face so he couldn't launch one 60 yds and you thought "oh, yeah, ok, why do they do that anyway?"

 

Berhalter should be pleased by these tactics though.

He's a truly infuriating player pretty much any time I've seen him. He has no business playing fullback at any respectable level. Lacks quickness to stay with attackers, over-dribbles, terrible in possession, and generally makes poor decisions. About the only things he has are pretty good straight line speed and crossing. He should really be developed as a cb. He has the height and physical tools.

 

Well it was the group of death all along, it was going to be hard no matter what, but good god man, have some self respect, don't go emo teen after the 2nd goal. Wicky really should've just used a sub then to get the team mentally in the game. That was like a bad inning in a baseball game, limit the damage so it doesn't become the inning that costs you everything, and not just the moment.

When the team plays poorly, and then the fanbase reminds you, that as bad as the team plays, the fanbase is still worse.

ps: He deserves a mulligan considering this is his first game ever at youth level.

actually, no I’m the age group that lost to Honduras and missed qualification to the 2013 WC.

 

Addition by subtraction for the next game with that red card. Gray is an awful centerback.
