Southampton 0-9 Leicester City had hat tricks by Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez. 8 of the goals were scored after Southampton's Ryan Bertrand got a straight red from VAR in the 12th minute. Perez scored 12 goals for Newcastle United last season, which was tied for the sixteenth most, but he did not score in his 8 games for Leicester City before today. Leicester City now has a +17 goal different, and they're on pace for +65, which would be more than double their +32 when they won the 2015-2016 title.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_records_and_statistics_in_England#Scorelines has records for the Premier League and Football League combined going back to its creation in the 1800s. Leicester City now has these three records:

Record win in top division: Nottingham Forest 12-0 Leicester Fosse on 21 April 1909 is one of two games with that score. Leicester Fosse became Leicester City in 1919.

Record away win in top flight: Today.

Highest scoring draw: Leicester City 6-6 Arsenal on 21 April 1930 is one of two games with that score. That was in the First Division, and the other game was in the Second Division, so they have sole possession of the highest scoring draw in top flight, which is not listed separately.

They used inconsistent terms of "top division" and "top flight" that mean the same thing.
