I did not pick Penn State either. It's sheep league.

    There are 4 MLS playoff games this week: NYC/Tor, Sea/RSL, Atl/Phi, LAFC/LAG
    6. which game is most likely to go to penalty kicks?
    Sea/RSL - 5
    NYC/Tor - 2
    LAFC/LAG - 2
    Atl/Phi - 1

(Will tonight finally give us the first pk shootout of the playoffs? Or will Matarrita fly out to LA just to try to foul someone in the box in the 88th minute?)

    7. which game will be the highest scoring?
    LAFC/LAG - 9
    Atl/Phi - 1

    8. which game is most likely to have the road team win?
    Sea/RSL - 3
    Atl/Phi - 3

    LAFC/LAG - 2
    NYC/Tor - 2

    9. which game will be the biggest blowout?
    Atl/Phi - 6
    NYC/Tor - 3
    LAFC/LAG - 1

(3 people think Philly is the most likely road win, and 6 people think this game will be the biggest blowout. Does that mean we're guaranteed to have an interesting game tonight, or will MLS reverse rules give us the first 0-0 game of the playoffs?)

    10. how many road teams will advance?
    1 - 7
    2 - 2
    0 - 1

Only because you picked the wrong SEC team

Obviously Penn State is the hardest game on the schedule. Luckily, with Wisconsin's loss last week, if OSU beats them this week, they won't have to play them again in the conf champ game (assuming they get by PSU). 3 straight weeks of PSU -> UM -> Wiscy would have been one heck of a tough stretch.

    11. have you purchased any Halloween candy for this year yet?
    yes - 6
    no - 4

    12. have you looked at the new Crew Stadium webcam within the past 24 hours?
    yes - 10

    13. name a famous baseball player
    Babe Ruth - 7
    Mike Trout - 2
    Michael Jordan - 1

    14. name a famous cricket player
    Sachin Tendulkar - 4
    Don Bradman - 3
    Virat Kohli - 1
    Shahid Afridi - 1
    Jiminy - 1

(One quick link for any sports fans who don't know about him, but Bradman's test batting average is ludicrous. It was actually over 100 until his final game. The number by itself might not mean anything to someone who knows nothing about cricket, but for anyone who simply understands math, the gap between him and everyone else is plain to see.

    http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/records/282910.html

Keep in mind, those other people on the list aren't random teammates, those other people are literally the other best players of all time.)

    15. why didn't you go to the 24-hour horror movie marathon this year?
    -I'm a chicken
    -I snore too loud
-I forgot to take a shower that morning
    -i hate other human beings
    -other (please specify: _________________)

    I hate other human beings - 5
    I'm a chicken - 2
    I snore too loud - 1
I forgot to take a shower that morning - 1
    other: busy - 1

(And right on cue, just posted a few minutes ago, a national article mentioning the 24-Hour Marathon at the Drexel:
    https://www.vulture.com/2019/10/disney-is-quietly-placing-classic-fox-movies-into-its-vault.html

Yes, the people who own movies are actually making it harder to watch movies.)

Usually I tell people when they seem to misread a question, and let them clarify and send in an updated answer.

Unfortunately for you, Michael Jordan definitely qualifies as a famous baseball player.

Honestly, this OSU team is one of the best I've seen so I was tempted to say no one. I don't think Penn State or anyone in the B1G has the horses to stick with them or enough defense to slow their horses down enough to stick with them. I'm just hoping Penn State continues to grow and puts up a fight. I don't think their performance against Michigan will cut it vs OSU. If Shea Patterson can pick apart Penn State in Happy Valley, I worry what Justin Fields can do in the Horseshoe.

So I went with the SEC playoff contender that I feel is playing the best currently, leading to LSU. Which, as always, makes me realize I put way too much thought into it.

EDIT: I also wouldn't consider the Wisc rematch dead yet. Minnesota is undefeated but still have to play both Penn State and Wisconsin (plus Iowa) so Wisconsin is just 1 Minnesota loss away from back to controlling their B1G West destiny.

Well, tOSU thought the same in 2016, so there's that. And Penn State has lost by a grand total of two points over the last two years. That said, I think tOSU is better--at least right now. We'll know more about both teams after this week, Fields hasn't played against a really good Big 10 defense yet. He will this weekend. And Penn State can't seem to beat MSU at all. So, well see.

And you make a good point about Bucky. They are still in it. Damaged, but still in it.

Two separate people said they were going out of town on vacation, so I posted the last round of questions as quickly as possible.

On the off chance that all 10 people send in answers by tomorrow, I will gladly post the answers tomorrow instead of Monday.

When your main team stops playing important games in July, you take them where you can get them.

I'm looking forward to tonight's MLS games. I didn't get to catch any Europa stuff today. I'm out of sheep league so just here to witness the thrill of playoff sheeping.
