    I liked Hazard runs tonight.

Still not anywhere near enough what we should expect from him in CL, but not his worst game with us.

Sadly, only his miss is posted everywhere tonight. People (especially those fans from other clubs) like to sh*t on others, nothing new.

I suspect Modric will be back for our next game.

However, Valverde needs to remain a starter. His workrate is probably the best of the team.

Also, in my mind Rodrygo has definitely solidified himself as the primary backup to Bale and possibly the first player off the bench.

Galatasaray has won 1 match at home in the last 3 seasons of European competition, which includes a match-up against the mighty Ostersund. It is not +/-10 years ago when playing over there was a bigger challenge.

We improved, Gala is a better team than Brugge imo, but we haven't improved enough that this team could still as easily have taken points from us. Things need to be put in perspective.

I`m positive if we can somehow stop mbappe who scored 3 goals this evening. :)

I haven't seen any intolerance to negativity. It seems to me like a normal split between posters with more pessimistic views and posters with more optimistic views.

Personally I find gratuitous negativity far more irritating than overwhelming positivity. Which of there is none on this board.

Defensively we looked good, effort was there ,, so thats good. Offensively we looked terrible.Overall , if i was supporting Atletico, I would be happy with this.

Trash performance in general. Saved again by TK8 at the end. Hazard needs to get his vision checked. A miss at this level from a 100 mil player is unacceptable

The way we looked today, and add Mbappe in the lineup against our defense, I doubt it.

Jesus even I have to say there is way too much negativity here and in the press. Completely overblown.

It's an away fixture in Europe, you win and you get out. That's it.

If Benzema gets injured, we are going to be in all kinds of trouble. He creates everything. Incredible player. We have no offence without him.

It is hard to be at all optimistic when the team has absolutely no positional awareness and every pass and defensive breakdown is predictable. I have never seen us this completely predictable and lacking in creativity. It‘a strange because I thought we turned a corner against Sevilla and Atleti (I didn’t view it as just bunkering the way others did) but these last two games have been absolutely brutal.

Bizarre performance by Benz. He was a maestro as a facilitator and created multiple opportunities, but man he had his own chances that he should've done better.

Another one of our unappreciated legends

When he leaves they will complain bitterly no differently than they have after all the years of wanting Cristiano to leave or not be the center of everything.

People don't even realize hiw essential he is to everything we do. We need him on the pitch just as much as Casemiro and Valverde.

Our problem is we have no crack. None. Hazard has been an absolute zero. Better yet a negative.

Oh and I want to restate Courtous is man of the match for me.

Every big club needs a GK to make these saves to propel their side to victory. Without him coming up huge early, we don't win today.

Kinda seems like Zidane has regressed to me. That whole bale drama in the preseason was not a good look for this club, but I expect a win here...

Tibo had some great saves, hopefully he starts playing like this regularly. It felt like we had things under control and i was expecting us to score another goal but Benzema and Hazard had poor finishing today. Overall there's positives to take away from the game but the negatives are still there.

Those early saves were absolutely crucial. If he continues and if he fixes that shithead personality of his, it would be fantastic.

Name the last match somebody won in 90 minutes without scoring a goal.

Funny that Kroos scored the only goal considering how much you hate the guy. :D

You’re the king of strawman aren’t you? Who said you could win without scoring lol? I said you could play well without it scoring a bunch of goals, quit embarrassing yourself.

and I don’t hate Kroos, I hated his lazy attitude but I’m very happy he is doing well.

For all the praise for Kroos he had an epic fail lazily not tracking a run into the box on one of their better scoring chances.
