I'm assuming the substantial down payment made at the time of the Doral reservation is not refundable.

I'm booking my seat early. It's going to be a packed house. Last time it was an all ticket affair. Will ticket masters be in control this time.

Impeachment? Meh. That happens every 20 years.
The World Series is the hot ticket in Washington.

World Series is a bigger joke in the world than Trump. Well close anyway. I, and many others, the best people, don't even know who is going to be trying to be Champeen of da woild this year.

I'll root for Germany or France.

You think I would care if a Republican President had sex with an intern? I most certainly would not. I mean, I would laugh at him and feel for his wife and mock "family values" and all that, but I certainly wouldn't regard it as an impeachable event.

    Nobody here would.

This has been the official stance of the Democratic Party for twenty years and still Republicans demand better of our politicians than theirs.

Pure myth. and pretty much stangermyth at that at this point.

1.She was an adult. Way over the age of consent.

    2. She was at the White house because Bill Richardson had had to get her out of his office because she did the same stuff there, or tried. Apparently the wives pretty much had her sussed from the word go, and when their husbands started reporting awkward scenes they raised hell.

    3. Bill, of course, being one of those guys who fears that if he ever says "No" he will turn gay was easy meat for her. To pretend that the manipulation was on his part simply because he should have been more mature than she, but was not, is disingenuous. They both acted like children. Little boys shouldn't play with big boys toys.

So go ahead and call him a dip-- he definitely was-- but Monica is a poor standard bearer for "me too," at least in relation to him. Somebody probably did teach her to value herself by her conquests, but it wasn't him...

Not entirely. Consensual literally has the word "consent" in it, so while it would be frowned upon, unless there are specifically rules outlined that state the President can't have a sexual relationship with a specific set of people (interns, employees), there's nothing one can do about it. From an HR perspective, as a boss, you never want to be put in a "quid pro quo" position, so if there's no quid pro quo involved, and both parties consent, there really shouldn't be an issue. It could create potential workplace issues, which is why it's usually frowned upon, but it's well within the law to have that kind of relationship, and not be setup for any kind of a potential lawsuit.

Why do people expect the President to be a better person? His job is to literally tell his generals who to bomb to advance the American agenda. If it means that much to people to have a President who is a "better person", then reanimate and elect Mr. Rogers.

Wales knocked out France on Sunday in a great match.

Germany doesn't even play rugby so far as anyone can tell.

    :). Nice deflection Donny.

I wanted to see the Wales France game. But Directv in their wisdom (of making more money in streaming it) showed the Brave Blossoms v SA.
Japan played some of the best rugger of the tourney so far but ended up getting steam rollered in the second half.
Directv did the same on Sat. I was waiting for the advertised NZ match. They haven't shown any NZ games on TV. Instead they did a repeat of the Eng/Oz game.
    Money grubbing bastards.

Of course consent has meaning within a boss-worker relationship.I should know, because three decades back I pursued, dated, and then married my boss.

    Bullshit.

No one said it’s an impeachable offense and that wasn’t what Clinton was impeached for.

In the age of #metoo and perhaps being able to cripple your hated other-team player, there is no chance you would just chuckle.

    No chance.

What are you talking about? Germany was never a participant, and France lost to Wales on the weekend. The World Champion will be England, New Zealand, Wales, or South Africa.

edit: Should have read forward. Covered by the good Dr.

You have invented a partisanship that I don't possess. Until Trump, I hadn't had a problem with any Republican nominee since Nixon. I didn't vote for them but that doesn't mean that I "hated" them." And even with Trump, what do I care about his sex life? I loathe him because he's a lying corrupt racist wannabe dictator, not because he's a serial adulterer.

Hmmm, I guess that stanger was right and I was wrong. Some people would protest. But in your case, at least, I think you would do so for both parties. That would be consistent with your long-stated views.

I guarantee they will show New Zealand's next game. Because, it's against England. And, it should be the match of the tournament.
