lol and now Sule is also injured. Hopefully Rudiger is back before Nov International break.

I recall plenty want Sule-Rudiger CB pair but they barely play together and now when one comes back the other gets injured.

the press asked him a bunch of times about Hummels comeback but Low is adamant that this a reboot only old players are Neuer, Reus, Gundo and Kroos.

Still not sure if Hummels could help. He should have had called a penalty against him when he fouled Herrmann and was also the main reason for several 1 on 1 situations for the Gladbach forwards this weekend. It was more luck than skill that BVB didn't concede and Hummels had some hefty brainfarts.

yeah Stark should be given chances and as for Hummels I'm on the fence, he's not prime Hummels anymore but mass injuries and somewhat iffy defense makes you wonder. But it won't happen anyways.

With Sule doubtful for Euro and Rudiger coming from long injury, door May open for Hummels

dude was trash CB vs Estonia, LOL. It's not even a decent team, it's a bad one, we actually looked better playing 10 men than we did in his 14 min as CB.:ROFLMAO:

I disagree. This ship has sailed. Löw made a decision most of us wouldn't have but it is what it is now. Let's just move forward.

I get why the original decision was made. He needed to clear out the big personalities to allow others to grow. I've seen this numerous times with the All Blacks where old leaders who are still good enough to play for us got cast into the wilderness to allow the next generation to breathe

But IMO there does come a point, given Germany's somewhat weak talent base, where you also have to prioritise winning games right now.

Hummels is clearly better than Can at CB for example.

So at this point, Loew is just cutting off his nose to spite his face - risking bad results because he handled things in a stupid way and now can't walk back.

Yea but probably he just can't walk back at this point and we're better just move forward. If the strong personality was the main reason to kick Hummels out, it would be a devastating thing to call him up again. Sometimes you just have to let it go and look forward. On the long term it doesn't help anyway and on the short term, it's not even clear if Hummels are a better option currently than other defenders as I pointed out earlier.

Loew Will be to stubborn to call on Hummels.....
he would rather use CAN and even Kimmich at CB before asking Hummels back.

Hummels will not come back. And rightfully so. A blind person can see it

Nothing wrong with moving on from the old players and let the younger ones grow into the team. But what do you do when the young ones fall away as well or are just not good enough? Time is also running out to integrate the Starks into the team and see if they are up to it. We've seen Tah and Ginter in recent games and frankly, I don't think they are ready for the highest level. I wouldn't even want them as the second choice in a tournament.

I only trust Rüdiger and Süle. One of those will very likely miss the Euros and the other had recent injury issues. I don't see depth on a high level after these two because besides Tah and Ginter, who was really given a chance? Even if there might be good CBs in the league waiting for their chance, some players (Hummels was an example) need their time to make the next step from good club player to reliable NT player.

I doubt it but maybe Löw and the DFB see the Euro as a transition tournament or a Confed Cup like experiment/learning experience.

that is likely what they think. Low kept his job because of the CC trophy and Low keeps yapping about playing younger players takes time. It tells you that if we flop, they already have an excuse in place that it's a transitional team. Of course the objective of any participating team is too win but.....teams in transition usually don't win their 1st tourney, it's usually min the 2nd one.
