Interesting that he's playing in the middle today. I think that's probably where he's going to get minutes this season.

Odoi is really good on the wing, and Willian has been playing very well also with defensive duties.

I think is it's Mount and Pulisic fighting for minutes in the attacking mid position for now, until either Odoi or Willian got injured or Lamp decide to rotate and rest players. Odoi and Willian seems to be the starting wingers for now.

I think it is legit that he laid that ball off and you would expect it to be finished, but I also agree a confident attacker finishes with time and space that close to goal. So, I'm calling it a good play, but he was in position to finish it off himself and I do hope he eventually gets a bit more ruthless in those situations.

Mount would never pass that ball.

They both thought Tammy had an easy finished. It took a surprisingly athletic effort from Yedlin to block it, and I just think Tammy didn’t think Deandre had a chance and went for the simple finish.

The Yedlin block was not detrimental to Pulisic, his pass to Tammy was good and the coach saw that.

IMHO Yedlin got the upper hand over Pulisic today - he made a couple of tackles on Puli, which left him scratching his head - IMHO this was a great match-up to watch

    Yedlin looks mean.

That dude look 'nasty', and I like it. We need more of that attitude on the US team.
