    Pulisic is in - minute 64 .... 0 - 0 ...

cannot say Lampard is not giving him a chance.

btw - he came in for Mason Mount.

    Wow.

Well the ball is firmly in CPs hands.

let's see what he does with it today.

and based on where Mount was - this has Pulisic playing against Yedlin.

Can it get any better than that?

Puli needs the goal more than Yedlin needs a good performance, but it's close.

I have to take back what I said in earlier posts about Lamp.

It seems Lamp might be handling Pulisic properly. Stringing him along, giving him 15-20 min per match to get used to the league and the team while building up his confidence. Get a few assists and maybe score a goal or two during his sub minutes, and he'll be ready to start.

More to see, but so far, it looks like he is doing a pretty good job re: Pulisic and the team overall.

Good 30 mins for him today

    one very good hockey assist

Another good Auba like lay-off that Tammy could not convert.

Some Shed End posters say Pulisic should have buried it (being more selfish) but that is a typical layoff he would have done at Dortmund for Bats or Auba to convert.

cannot complain about Lumpy - he gave the kid a chance for 30 mins.

He laid off a pass when surrounded by defenders without trying to dribble the three men marking him. That's a crucial moment. He looked and saw Alonso running in free, and made the pass. That's like Puli's moment when he discovered fire.

CHO found the ball though, so he gets the assist.

Good game today for Pulisic. If he had buried his chance, it would have been an excellent game.

Puli still can't seem to finish, he needs to keep working on that aspect of his game and quick. You need to score your chances in the EPL, there won't be too many of those to come around.

Pulisic is trending upwards and Mount down, who has cooled considerably since Aug and early Sept.

If that continues Puli will get his shot to replace him in the XI.

Why is Pulisic a hot topics because of his national team? I thought Lampard didn’t give a ******** what national team he played for and made his decisions solely on what he objectively sees in training.

Hot topic because his national team just lost to Canada for first time in 34 years and he got subbed out. Everyone so quick to be angry about lampard.

glad to see pulisic came in and had an impact. Love to see it!

I will eat that crow with you.

Although I thought his decisions with CP were correct based on his form and fit, I thought his coaching chops were poor. He is proving me wrong.

TBH. I like this team. They are fun to watch and Lampard Et Al seem to be doing a great job tactically with this young talented team. If/when Pulisic breaks in to the first team he will have earned it.
