Exactly. Sometimes I question why I'm not just watching brasileirao as I watch my 1,000th penalty and commercial by 430.
he's right but jay obviously didn't want to. I'm not a fan of jay at all but the media/ peer pressure was too high on him to put haskins in. Case's 5 turnovers against chicago didn't help things.
Yeah, he folded. But look at what Jay probably wants.....you know he is itching to get Colt McCoy in there now that he is healthy. He probably would have started the season over Case if he didn't get hurt again. This is just another chapter in Jay's love affair over mediocre players like Rob Kelley and Ryan Grant.
He is a bad HC. The only thing I give him credit for is being able to scheme guys open in the pass game. Oh, and also having to deal with Bruce Allen. But as far as being able to fulfill his role as a HC, he is poor. Man management is mediocre. He protects mediocre players and throws a wrench in the locker room when deactivating AP in Week 1 of this season. His run game offense is underwhelming and predictable. We run the ball on first down more than any team in the league. He's been given several opportunities to pull the plug on middling defensive coordinators and has passed. I'd be surprised to see Jay get another HC gig after he is fired from here. Someone will give him a shot as an OC.
Not shocked. He loves Colt Gruden!! https://t.co/VOJfGbvbTJ— Brian Mitchell (@BMITCHLIVE30) October 4, 2019
Every year, it gets worse and worse. And it all started after we put the aging refs that recently retired on a pedestal after the replacement refs debacle.
I hope he's doing good too. Last I saw he had a meltdown about trump on fb and Brazilians were putting him in his place. These Brazilians were probably new family members so a pretty shaky start with the new family given the stereotype and truth of the "weak american man" stereotype. Not the way I would have played it for the new family.
Can I ask that you do a video on the subject? I can accept losing, but I don't like how that went down.
Not sure why the Vikings bother dropping Kirk back. He either gets pressured or holds the ball too long. Running lanes on that drive have been crazy. Bostic is getting blocked consistently.
Statistics via @NFLResearch tell an interesting story on #Vikings QB Kirk Cousins after last night.— Look at Cousins the last 4 games and how he’s come on— Compare Cousins’ start to that of last year’s MVP Patrick Mahomes through 8 games. 🤷🏽♂️ pic.twitter.com/fukVUTipzc— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 25, 2019 This is the type of thing that triggers me. Call me a hater, but if you think the performances are in any way comparable, you are fooling yourself. This is not a QB that attacks defenses downfield. Props to the Vikings OC for protecting him and limiting him from making mistakes. The amount of YAC that boosted Kirk’s numbers from Cook and Diggs is similar to what Thompson and Pierre did for him here. The numbers look great but don’t tell the story.
Thinking out loud here -- this Kirk talk has got me thinking. I wonder if the Vikings tried reaching out to Jay to bring him onboard as some sort of offensive assistant. He is close with Zim from their days with Cincinnati. Jay knows Kirk well and what he does well and what he doesn't do well. I wouldn't have Jay make any input on the run game because that is clicking with the zone scheme. I think Jay would actually help improve the Vikings pass game. @Emperor Adriano
