No. That's not it at all. I pissed some of them off. I don't not blame any of them for being angry with me. Because I respect them, I do not wish to aggravate them. Therefore, I will avoid hanging out with the Ultras, not because I don't like them, and not because they make me uncomfortable, but because I don't want to piss them off. And I understand their anger, and I accept it. And that's enough of that crapola. GO Quakes!! Go Quakesfans!! - Mark
well then sir, we shall leave it there. I respect you too, can’t imagine what you could’ve possibly done but I guess it’s none of my business if you say it’s over and it was your fault to begin with. enough with the crapola, go Quakes!
.@PROreferees Greg Barkey admits on Week 30's Inside Video Review that the penalty kick awarded to Andy Rios should not have been rescinded. All other VAR reversals against PHI and SEA were deemed correct.Check the video here: https://t.co/AoU7aQtVQH #Quakes74— JMoore Quakes (@JmooreQuakes) October 4, 2019 http://proreferees.com/2019/10/04/watch-inside-video-review-mls-week-30/ Talks about a few calls that went it against the Quakes past few weeks. At 650 he talks about the Andy Rios penalty.
So then everybody involved in that atrocious f****** will be docked pay and suspended right? I'll hold my breath
I will be in Sec 215, I will look for you. Since I moved to the Portland area in 2008 (from my hometown San Jose), I had season tickets to the Timbers games (before they became MLS), and I NEVER had any problem wearing my Earthquakes gear to the Quakes vs Timbers games. GO QUAKES!
Just tried to watch the video review referenced above and conveniently (for the league) the audio is snuffed out just before his review of the Foul (in the box) of Rios. No, no conspiracy here folks, just normal operations around MLS. (Dumb Asses.)
It’s very clearly a penalty kick. The reviewer here, Greg Barkey, clearly says that it should have been a penalty. What I want to know is why the VAR dude thought that it wasn’t a penalty? You can hear the guy saying that it’s a shoulder to shoulder challenge, which is how it started, but their player extends his arm in order to prevent our guy from getting to the ball, and that’s clearly illegal. Further, their guy is playing our guy and not the ball, also clearly a foul. BUT, the VAR requirement is clearly and obvious error, which it’s not. So where do they get off saying that it is? I’d be fine with the VAR guys saying: “We think you should take a look. This might not be a penalty.” And leave it at that! BUT, the VAR guys are clearly making decisions and then telling the CR what they think. They are not the CR’s for the games. It really seems that they are over stepping their authority (that or I don’t understand the system at all). It one of the other replays there, they say that a tackle was outside the box, and I’m OK with that, but they fail to notice that the defender was the last defender and that’s a straight red card. If it’s yellow worthy, and you’re the last defender, you get sent off. Freaking lame. Go Quakes!! - Mark
The only stadium I ever had problem with was at Carson where an open water bottle was thrown at me from the back walking out after a game won by SJQ.
Just saw this on facebook, hope it is OK to post! https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=446822245953649
Win, lose or draw I've enjoyed the ride. Soccer is fun in San Jose again. I don't believe there's an ounce of difference in quality between teams 2-8 in the West.
Family obligations win out, I won't be going to the game after all, going to my Great Nephew's 2nd birthday party! I will make them all watch the game on ESPN! GO QUAKES!
