Im pretty sure Zizou doesnt count on Ceballos, he just doesnt trust him at all. So if coach will stay, Dani gone. As for IsCO... just time to move on. He is here for 6 years, stangnated, became injury prone, time to create new challenges for himself.

I dont know if Ceballos has a future with this team, and if he comes back next year, I am thinking he is behind Odegaard. Isco will have to become a two way workhorse like James has become to play in that number 6/8 role, otherwise he is played further ahead. Kroos and James would be my starting midfielders, with Odegaard playing every other game.

Zidane also doesn't rate Odegaard judging by the last 4 years that Zidane didn't even try to make him part of the team.

Plus if Zidane stays and players leave Pogba is back on the table for cheaper, with Erikson also a free transfer option.

If Odegaard really wants it, I think he will eventually get his chance but he might not want to wait anymore.

Zidane didn’t make Odegaard a part of the team 4 years ago because he was 16.

Zidane was coaching Castilla at the time and had him on the bench. Next.

Not until his price goes down to make financial sense for Florentino.

If he's playing the way he's playing, he'll find his way into the team regardless of who the coach is.

I don't think Ödegaard would be that successful if he played at Real Madrid...

Don't get me wrong, he's amazing and perhaps LaLiga's best player right now.

However, Ödegaard is the No.1 guy at Sociedad & the offense runs through him.

At Madrid, Ödegaard would share the ball with other players in the final 3rd.

Which would probably make his numbers reduced.

He has infinite technical resource and great vision to go along with that great work rate and off The ball play.

He developed massively over the last couple of seasons. Plus his "head" definitely seems strong he didn't have the best start to hes career outside Norway. But he really seems to have the drive to succeed and put on the work on and off the pitch. Mental qualities are what seperate players who succeed in Madrid and who dont.

I have no doubt that If he comes back next year he Will forces himself on the first XI or atleast as the go to guy to rotate with Modric and James. Getting good minutes along the way. Zidane loves his B"teams"' and rotation If possible so he will get the chances to show what he can do here. To be the man or not.I think he will "Be the man" and we have a Modric replacement right here.

He has 'special' written all over him. If there is one player that I want to succeed at Real Madrid, it's Ødegaard. He just has way too much talent to fail at the club and is exactly the player that we need and (will) lack. I've rarely seen players make the right decision on the ball almost every single time, it truly is incredible.

    Keep up the good work!

We're going to gass this guy up so much that he's bound to get boohed for a misplaced pass or two like Vinicius when he comes back.

He's doing well. All this "the player we've been waiting for" stuff is nonsense though.

I for one have always been positive and excited about Odegaard. There is nothing wrong with being excited for a special talent (because he is). He was exceptional last season for Vitesse (in a small league) and has continued his development into La Liga. If he manages to keep this up for a season, we have a treasure in our hands.

Also, Odegaard possesses incredible skills that are hard to teach. His vision, passing and football IQ are elite. What he lacked in strength, he learned to make up for it in workrate. I don't know, there are many reasons to be excited for this kid..

We're three years away from Odegaard playing for Real Madrid if we stick to our agreement. I see his time at San Sebastian as a good thing, but I don't make any connections to how he would perform under the ridiculous amount of pressure there would be for us.

It took a few flicks and turns from Kubo for people to say that he should be playing for us but he's looking his age at Mallorca now that the season started. Everything at its time.

Because I don't treat the young players on loan like potential saviors?
