Tons of people have been promoted: TownKrier, hungariansteven, ColumbusFTW, Alneri, Minnman, Dr.Fever, and DGA57v2. 10 other people are in the promotion playoffs, which will hopefully start up next week. Good luck to those people. Tough luck for the folks who got relegated, better luck next season. *Regarding that last relegation spot in Division One, if chr1st comes back, he gets to stay up and djtrinidad goes down, simple as that. Sorry, djtrinidad. There are only supposed to be 4 people qualifying for the Champions Cup, but thanks to the tie, both foozer and TheNormalOne'sCrazyWife will qualify for it. Also, now is a good time to remind everyone how the postseason works: promotion playoffs every season, but Champions League and Cup every other season, to make them bigger competitions. So this season is the offseason for those two competitions, so the postseason this time around will only be the 10 promotion playoff folks. It took a bit to appear, but we saw some quality play even down in Division Three this season. Even including animere, who finished with 62 points from playing only 2 weeks, but if you multiply that up to 10 weeks, that's 300 points and that would get him/her/they/it (are you a robot?) right into the thick of the promotion battle. Let's see if Alneri and Minnman can win back-to-back promotions next season though. Some people can keep the momentum going, and some people are one-season wonders. Alneri didn't end up that far off of GoCrew1996's point total for the season. We'll see how crowded Division Three is next season. It might go back to the usual 3+4 promotion scheme, or it may need to stay at the expanded 4+6 level.
Coming up just shy in the promotion playoffs last season and bombing out of the open cup early, kept my sheep focused. Our eyes are set on the premiersheep!
