This is just the tip of the iceberg in my eyes.

There is a treasure trove of buried stuff yet to come.

If insiders get the sense his impeachment is nailed on, the flood gates will open.

That man is both corrupt and senseless. A terrifying combination.

Pass the popcorns folks.....It is going to be fun. By the way, it seems that the memo of that convo with the Russians was put in the top secret computer as well. Hope this one, and others, will see the light of day soon.

Ned Price, a former NSC official, just confirmed on Maddow show that the NSC deputy counsel reports to the WH Counsel. The NSC counsel is the one who moved the transcript of the July 25 call to the top secret code word server. This shit will go down faster than we may think.

There is nothing enjoyable about watching our government unravel.

It has to be done, but to say it’s going to be “fun” is the epitome of partisan politics and part of the reason we are at this point.

Very true that is part of the reason we are at this point. I never thought about that. :sneaky:. Actually, that is exactly why we are at this point!
I am very sorry that I am truly enjoying a sociopathic conman going down with his lackeys and toadies with him. Apologies in order.
In the meantime, i will still order the popcorn.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the reporting about that meeting with Kisliak in the Oval Office in March, 2017 came from former White House aides, whether they were military or otherwise. When the White House seems more like a bakery churning out staff turnovers than a residence and working office of one of the most influential people in the world, it stands to reason that disgruntled ex-employees and honest people who care more about our national security and domestic tranquility will eventually come around to do the right thing.

As for the call with President Zelensky on July 25th, maybe Dan Coates or John Bolton provided information to the whistleblower. Both men were still employed by the Trump Administration, but would be leaving their posts within a matter of weeks. Both men were likely at the White House when the call between Washington and Kiev was put in. Just a guess on my part...I could be way off base.

Lolz. Again, what bullshit outta you. You remember Benghazi, right? And the Tea Party who magically stopped caring about deficits once the Kenyan was out of office. This is called taking back democracy from a tyrant. You should be as happy as the rest of us if you're so into liberty. Which you're clearly not

Celebrating the continued stupidity of our government is something I just don’t understand.

Yes, I remember the stupidity of other partisan idiocy and didn’t celebrate that, either.

What I want is s functional government which we will never have if partisan bickering is celebrated.

Just focus on the crimes at hand. Trumpism has infected many parts of the govt, even career civil servants are swept up in his BS. What we long suspected is turning out to be true. Just as the whistleblowers facts so far have all lined up. Trump extorted Ukraine for personal gain. Sold us out to Russia, the Saudis & who knows who else. Now's not the time to bothsides this.

    BOTH SIDES DO IT!

Of course only one side does it so poorly.
The other side does "it" 10% as much (thanks @taosjohn ).

No, I do not enjoy the government unraveling. However, I can enjoy Trump getting his comeuppance.

Please describe a single time when Democrats have had the "idiocy" of the Trump administration.
    Show your work.

    There is no "partisan bickering."
    One party's leader committed crimes.
That party is complicit and trying to explain it away in a most unconvincing manner (see Rep. Barr on NPR this morning).
The other party is investigating the serious crimes apparently committed.

    Please describe the "bickering."

Now you want a "functional government"? Don't vote for f*cking Gary Johnson in Ohio in a tight contested election next time.
(admittedly, Trump amazingly won Ohio by a large enough margin that pissing away a vote on Johnson did have any effect. I guess that shows the stupidity of Ohio, then. Their governor is the last challenger to Trump and a "never Trumper" of the first order, but they still put party over country).

I’m doing nothing of the sort.

I am watching an elected president get impeached for actual crimes.

I am mourning all that got us to this point, not celebrating a win for any team.
