Why people believe that politicians want to make everything for the people? Politics is only an occupation, just like dentist, lawyer, electrician, teacher....it's only important to say the correct thing in front of the correct audience. In conservative circles they can use conservative theories, in liberal areas they can use those theories, a little bit of patriotism, several sports teams or individuals, good words from show business figures...and ammonini - to the victory.
