Not the keeper that will keep us breathing in a game when we are playing bad. We need to score first and for that to happen we need a solid keeper to make some good saves for us.
Then not good enough for this club. This club is known for keeping defenses stranded. We need keepers the best of the best keepers playing for this club.
The best keepers have a bit of arrogance about them, Courtois has the arrogance but not the ability or the confidence. What happened to this guy?
Not trying to be a douche But he has been the worst signing we've done in a while. Illara Lucas Silva were bad. But this guy was terrible looking at the needs, contract year for him, and the fact that we had a better keeper already Then we double down by bowing down and making him the set starter for no reason. Terrible
Give him the rest of the season to prove what he's worth, if he cant get back to his old form, i'd sign a new keeper in summer
I read somewhere from a Chelsea after his meniscus injury of 2015, he hasn't played with the same attitude. Almost like he is afriad of getting hurt again.

And shouldnt happen, Courtois was once a top 3 GK, i'd give him this whole year to show what he's got, meanwhile Areola isnt and will never be a start gk for us, if Tibo cant perfom well in the remaning season just buy a new GK

A Goalkeeper with 0 confidence spells disaster... His mind is probably having thoughts like, "Shit... opponent has the ball... If they take a shot and score I'm screwed" and not "Don't worry guys I have your back." Getting the confidence back for a Goalkeeper is tough because it kind of depends on the team screwing up.. Not to mention his face looks dejected all the time. Hope things pick up at some point.. Still early on the season.
Cholo’s prime Atletico Madrid and the Terry era Mourinho/Conte’s Chelsea made him look like world class because he had the world best defenders playing in front of him and they played defensive football with strong tendency of sh*thousery, grinding games with 1-0 and conceded less goals because of it. Put him in a team that plays attacking football, he keeps like an amateur.
He's not performing good but i would like to see how he does with an at least average (no we aren't even average at this point) and organized defense in front of him before writing him off. But who knows when that's going to happen lol.
This is the same entitlement attitude that does not win Courtois any friends. If he does not improve his performance, Flo will be rushing back to the market for a goalie in the winter. Yes the defense is fragile - and Courtois is the biggest problem.
This is Real Madrid so waiting for an organized defense to rate the GK just isn't feasible at this point.
We need to find a keeper who is used to being under fire similar to when we got Navas from Levante. Not TC's fault, but it is true that he played behind very organized defensive teams. He might be overwhelmed with our terrible defense.
