most of that came from British/American media, neither who like Germany that much. I mean the Brits were already annoyed that we won the WC. And the American media always seem to prefer Argentina/Brazil and other Euro countries over Germany for whatever reason.

and those countries like to play PC police.

    lol.

I think American media they just follow stars and players who play in EPL/La Liga that's it. I think they believe Germany has no stars just good mentality and good teamwork and that's it. It's pretty much why they seem to mostly root for non German teams.

and no one cares what England and their media think.

I mean even their Scots who work in English media hate Germany. Seems like resentment from a bunch of old man for WWII. I recall how Alan Hansen hated Germany every time we played at the 2010 WC and 2014 WC and everytime we win.

his reaction: He cannot believe how bad the other team was.
never how good we are and made the other team look bad, lol.

cannot believe how bad England, Argentina, Portugal, France, Brazil are.

    so unprofessional from him.

Congratulations Brazil on winning your ninth Copa America.

Based on what I saw throughout this Copa America, I'm afraid the next World Cup will once again be won by a European country.

They looked pretty decent going forward though .. even without Neymar ..

I’d love to see the Arthur - Coutinho - Firmino combo link up with Messi .

I wonder if Liverpool would trade Firmino for Suarez :)

    Edit

    Peru were brutal

Sorry to butt-in, I mostly post on the Brazil forum.
I'm afraid you are right about Europe probably winning the next World Cup.
Brazil can improve considerably by the addition of Vinicius Jr, for example. Argentina, on the other hand, what you saw at the Copa America, is what you get. They (Argentina) do not have any magical golden generation at the U20 or U23 level and many of their best players are on the wrong side of 30 (Messi is 32 or 33).

your not butting in. Anyone is welcome to post.

I agree Brazil is still producing plenty of interesting kids.

While Argentina really wasted their chances to win trophies while their golden generation were young players. I agree that they will continue to struggle especially once Messi is gone. Messi will be 35 at the next WC assuming he doesn't quit before. His last shot for trophy is likely Copa 2020, assuming he doesn't get suspended as some reports say he might. They are even wasting talents like Icardi and Dybala due to not integrating either and they are pretty much getting close to late 20s.

is it wrong that one feels like Uruguay might be producing better talents than Argentina? From a pop of 3.5M too.

Speaking of England, it looks like despite Harry Kane fading a bit, they now have Tammy Abraham who is breaking through this season at Chelsea. Could be their next top striker.
