Alex, I'll take MLS keepers with zero first team appearances this season for $400.

I'd think Matt Freese of the Union is ahead of Marcinkowski right now. Freese actually plays once in a blue moon.

And you are welcome to be a grown man who roots against a kid in their career for a tweet he made as a teenager. To each their own. :)

Carter-Vickers and Robinson went 90 in the Championship. Sargent came off the bench and played 22 minutes for Bremen.

I don't know college keepers well enough to compare them to Freese or Marcinkowsky.
    Ochoa looked OK with U-20.

I'm not against Klinsmann starting for the U-23s and of course any U-23s getting starts is good, but Marcinkowski getting starts at Reno is a solid level for a young keeper. Freese is good too, but he has 1/3 of the pro starts than Marcinkowski has. I also thought that Marcinkowski has looked good whenever I've watched him, but Reno doesn't have a stellar defensive record so idk.

We all say dumb things when we’re young, JK has the misfortune of the spotlight. If you never did anything worse than that at 15 you’re probably a boring person.

The key here is has JK grown from this and become a better, more mature person.

He was 17. I can't even imagine a youth player in any country say something like that about the greatest ever player of that country unless he is an entitled little prick, covered by his daddy. Any french kid says something like that about not even Zidane, but Tigana or Platini? Portuguese kid about Figo? Mexican about Marquez or Borgetti? Costa Rican about Navas or Ruiz? Doubt that many Mexican or Costa Rican youth players would say that about Donovan.

I would bet that our Olympic keeper is one of the overage slots.

Emmanuel Sabbi with the goal for Hobro. They're currently up 2-1 over Copenhagen in the first half.

Cross posting from the Sabbi thread- looks like he was almost sold to France. I would've loved to see that.

Gloster's passing has improved a lot the last year or two.

I think this guy is easily overlooked in our player pool. He's not even cap-tied to any country provisionally.

Those who didn't watch wouldn't believe this, but at U-20 WC Gloster was by far the top American FB.

IF Tony Sanneh and John O'brien could have stayed healthy in their careers the landscape of US Soccer could have been way different...

Same goes for every national team program. Youth players also have significant injuries, and the subsequently fall off the face of the planet. Just an unfortunate part of the deal.

John O'brien played less than 100 first team club games TOTAL. He basically only had one full year of first team soccer, which luckily for us intersected with the 2002WC.

Just as a comparison, 20 year old Christian Pulisic has already played 157. 20 year old Tyler Adams has played 120.

You gotta get out there and actually play. There always seems to be some problem with Nick Taitague. Mostly not big injuries, but a string of smaller injuries that have kept him out of action. Just can't get momentum........................

Perhaps Taitague simply misunderstood the career advice he was given, to join a club that would provide traction.

Let's all wish him a healthy and productive future.
