While Portland does have a game in hand on us (four at home), the downside for them is they have to play 5 games in a span of two weeks.

Gotta love Forward Madison’s marketing team

First, there was the League Cup. Or was it the Leagues Cup? And the Champeones Cup. Or the Campeones Cup?

The folks running that team are totally plugged into the psyche of Madison, and have been astonishingly successful (outdrawing many USL teams, let alone USL League One). I will be very interested to see if they can maintain and grow their support next year (Breese Stevens field holds 5K, average attendance is 4,272).

This is an example of a team, owner, front office, and management that are doing everything right. Quite the contrast to what we have here...

I thruned it off as soon as LA went up 2-1...what a joke!

 

The Filth have one of the easiest schedules in the West from here on out, so I don't expect us to lap them. In fact, pretty much all of the teams within striking distance of us (and vice versa) have much easier schedules than us for the remainder of the season (see Portland, with four of five at home). I expect us to finish 6th, 7th or 8th.

 

It's not a coincidence.

 

If you are going to say that, make sure you also include the picture of the guy wearing the tinfoil hat.

Petke sues RSL for terminating him in violation of the contractual addendum signed after the Tigres incident. Complaint is embedded in the Salt Lake Tribune article linked below.

Conceivably the suit could turn, at least in part, on the definition of "p*to" and whether, in fact, it is a homophobic slur, which means maybe that definition controversy will be actually litigated.
