So Bradley is only a good coach when he has Vela. The Quakes don't have anyone like Vela and therefore Almeyda is the better coach. Just to put the final nail in the coffin I would love to see us knock LAFC out of the playoffs.
I wouldn't read too much into this. Yes, obviously Vela is a huge part of LAFC's success, and maybe they win that game with him. But they were also on an incredible season, playing well beyond what teams should reasonably expect. A little regression to the mean should be expected. They only had 3 losses up to their two most recent games. That is crazy, and in all honestly, was not sustainable. It's a shame the Quakes were never able to take advantage and had some of their poorest form against them, but it's not a surprising that LAFC would lose another couple games before the season was over.

Houston leads Minnesota early. That would really help out if the Dynamo can win. Colorado over LA would be even sweeter.
Dynamo win indeed... finally we got a good break from another game. Hope we squeeze out at least a point for ourselves tonight, of course 3 would be better.
A ‘meaningless’ goal that meant relief for a grieving Emmanuel Ledesma https://theathletic.com/1203521/201...meant-relief-for-a-grieving-emmanuel-ledesma/
The most important game for the Quakes involving other teams this weekend is the Dallas vs Chicago game. At the half, Chicago leads 4-0. Live streaming on Twitter: https://twitter.com/i/events/1166144382283599872
That Dallas loss is so big, they are now more likely than us to miss the playoffs. They trail by 1 in the first tiebreaker, wins. If we win our two home games, Dallas is nearly toast.
So far, an almost-goal for Portland, an own goal by Portland, and a talking point. DC up 1, should be up two!
DC wins!! Despite the loss, the Quakes are more likely to make the Playoffs today than they were Friday!
