    Very poor half from the Dutch even though the possession might be misleading.

    The Germans are just sitting back and defending letting the Dutch come at them knowing they don't have the talent to beat them. And then the Germand counterattack knowing they can beat the Dutch on pace.

    De Roon, Blind, Babel, Promes are not starting material. Plain and simple

    What a fun game to watch. Adrian Healy and Tyler Twellman are the ESPN commentators and had almost no clue about what was going on. They didn't realize that VAR was not being used until the game was 2/3 over. I wonder if VAR would have overturned the handball call on de Ligt. Dutch really came to life in the 2nd half and created opportunities galore. Had there been some better first touches they could have had a couple of more. Defense held up down the stretch when the game was still close.

    It makes complete sense. A lot of the smaller countries do not have the equipment for VAR at their arenas. UEFA made an early decision that VAR would not be used in ANY of the qualifiers for this very reason. They had to have a common rule for all the matches. VAR will be used in all the EURO 2020 matches.
