The GK situation is the last of anybody's concern right now, be it Areola or someone else.

Midfield is all over the place and we have no DM alternative to Casemiro.

Now if Casemiro gets injured, that's even more worrying.

Bruno Fernandes announcement
Real Madrid are set to complete the signing of Bruno Fernandes.

That’s according to ESPN journalist Manu Martin, who claims the Portuguese midfielder will be announced in the next seven hours.

“Well, one of the bombs that Zidane said is going to be announced tomorrow. Bruno Fernandes almost closed,” Martin tweeted after last night’s 2-2 draw with Valencia.

Fernandes, 24, recently revealed that he had agreed to join Tottenham but the clubs failed to reach an agreement over his valuation.

Now, Spurs’ loss will be Zinedine Zidane’s gain with the Daily Mail adding that Real Madrid are close to finalising a £64m deal.

Are we really signing Bruno? At this point, any change in the midfield would be refreshing I think.

 

Bs the bomb is Areola

 

I don't know much about him but I've seen some peeps on this forums rate him. I think we definitely need a reinforcement in midfield and he seems Like a smart midfielder who can both score and defend.

 

I wouldn’t. I mean, we need to offload a player if we are going to add ala Navas for Areola. Considering that we are not offloading anyone before the window closes, I don’t see how we will add a player. Sadly, I think our summer activity is finished and leaves us incomplete with a weak midfield.

 

Bruno Fernandes is now unlikely at this point.

I think he is good but not a CL winner. Then again we will never know for sure because different players play differently at different clubs and leagues. If this deal goes through I want Kroos or Isco gone end of season.
