I haven’t heard anything about Kluivert in a long time. Is he a starter at Roma? And do you know how he is generally perceived by the fans?

He is starting rigbt now because of some injuries but he will soon be out of the starting lineup. Had a chance and has done nothing with it.

Just an extremely dumb player. Has some individual skills but doesn't see the pitch well or know where to go.

He is perceived very poorly by their fans. Just completely stalled out. The move to Roma was a very poor one and looks like he needs to move to lower competition

  3. When one looks how technical superior and smart Stengs plays after AZ matches against ManUnited the epl clubs are going to stampede over each other to get him. Stengs simply shows brilliance without making it look like an effort.

Bergwijn most likely out for Oranje as he hurt his hamstring. De Vrij also out.

Would be a perfect time to give some young guys a chance

Totally wrong league for him to choose. He needs to go to Spain or Germany where they protect players.

Stengs the obvious choice! How he isn’t in the team yet.... Get Boadu and Ihattaran in there asap as well! Lets start building towards the future.

Also as far as Kluivert... can’t say I am surprised. Such a dumb decision as we all predicted. I hope he turns it around but I doubt he’ll ever really reach the highest level.

Oh man haha. I want Kluivert to be something but right now he just isn't anywhere close.

Koeman must have saw he started both games and not actually watched them, because if he saw them and still selected him then I've completely lost faith in him.

This also shows how many politics are involved. Just cause the last name Kluivert and came from Ajax to Roma. Stengs being at AZ hurts which is unfair

On the other hand, our big man VVD is nominated for FIFA's best men's Player.

Also, Dutch fans are nominated for the best fan award based on FIFA Women's World Cup.

Serina Wiegman is also nominated for Fifa's best Women Coach.

Kluivert over Stengs is just a really bad joke at the moment. Disappointed ☹️

Ludovit Ries has rejected an invitation from Slovakian National Team. The young man can only see his future with Oranje.

  13. Well, Dest is back on earth again I guess. He was nutmegged that led to a Mexican goal in a 0-3 trashing by Mexico.
So can we now stop the fecking hyping of the up till now nobody? He needs two years of maturing and then take a look at what's his best opportunity for national teams.

  14. Just watched the about 10minutes clip video of that match. It's a pain to the eyes to watch it....I can't imagine how bad the not so highlight part was. Who needs waterboarding if one can force someone to watch that.

There were two on the score list that have Eredivisie pedigree, Guti of PSV and Antuna who played for FC Groningen.

If I was Ihattaren and was still having trouble making a decision, I would have watched both games on Friday to see which I identified more with. On one side I would have seen an amazing win against another football powerhouse by an Oranje team with great energy that seem to have an awesome team spirit. I would have seen a mixed-racial team where everyone seems to genuinely like and appreciate eachother and to top it all off I would have seen one of my friends from PSV make his dream debut to score an all important goal in this huge game. I would be thinking "wow, that could be me!"

On the other hand I would have watched an incredibly uninspired game between Morocco and Burkina Faso which ended in 1-1 whereby the player I am often compared to (Ziyech) gets booed by his own fans. This after having already been scapegoated for the Africa Cup loss a few months prior.

Man I hope Ihattaren watched both games yesterday. For me any other decision than Oranje at this point would be ridiculous. I genuinely believe although he will never admit it that given a second chance Ziyech would choose Oranje for sure. I really believe he regrets his choice, and he should. He would have been a starter for this amazing team that we have right now, a team that is only going to get better in the coming years. Most importantly, just like Ajax currently, it is a team that looks like they really enjoy playing together. They look like a group of friends. This is something you couldn't say about all past Dutch teams or the current Moroccan team.

These events really could not have come at a better time.

It's so nice to see a Dutch team that genuinely seems to like each other. So much talent in the past but they hated each other and you could just tell. This team seems to be very close.

  17. It turns out that the guy doing the nutmeg (panna) to Dest was another one with Eredivisie pedigree, Jesus Corona, who used to play for FC Twente.
So poor Dest was being mauled with his team by Eredivisie players:ROFLMAO:

Agreed and Pulisic was just as much at fault on the play in question.

  20. :ROFLMAO:
The Mexicans were being kind to him. They only brought in the most dangerous Eredivisie striker, Lozano, after he was subbed.
Oh, wait....they waited until he was subbed out of fear he would dent Chuckey's confidence after annihilating him.....That was the hyping in the US forum anyway, that Dest would do that as he's a star that outplayed everybody in the CL matches.

To come back to the tiring subject, it's tiring to read we asap must cap him as he's the next coming of the best left back we ever had. After having done nothing to give merit to that.

People want the KNVB to show interest in him because he is one if the top prospects at right back. Which is an extremely poor position for Oranje. Did you not see how bad our backs were the other day?

  22. Look. This is why I come down on you time after time, much to your annayance and that's ment that way.
He's not a top prospect because he has never ever shown to be such a person. So as long as you keep on coming with this idiotic notion I keep slamming you with him being a nobody. That doesnot mean he willnot be good or great, he for sure can. However in contrast to the guys that really were top talents he never showed it at Young Ajax. Do you mind to watch for instance the 2-6 clubbing of Young Ajax by SC Cambuur as one of the matches that showed him to be sub par in that sense Ajax only at the last minute decided to give him a contract.
This was how they performed with him in 2018/2019:
    upload_2019-9-8_15-32-22.png
The season before that they were champion!

  23. They swallowed a whopping 67 goals against, iirc with Per Schuurs in the defense as CD!

So stop giving him a label he hasnot deserved at all...yet.

Players develop at different times. Dest has had a rapid development curve over a short period of time. Not every player follows the same path. It's why Netherlands were never interested in him but are now showing interest. Because he has turned himself into one of the better prospects at his position in the world.

If you can't see that I dont know what to say to you. Stop being so stubborn

  25. You realise it's van de Looi who's making the call, do you? The idiot that shouldnot be on the helm of the Young Orange squad in the first place. This man is reacting to hype pressure from Ajax paper de Telegraaf and the copy cat sites that copy an opinion and than put some fantasy sauce over it from their own thumb.
