    https://www.fifa.com/worldcup/news/hay-takes-over-new-zealand-role is titled "Hay takes over New Zealand role." He coached New Zealand in the last two U-17 World Cups. It says "After Ricki Herbert, he is just the second person to captain and coach the national team." He played for Leeds United when they were in the Premier League. He's 44. According to Wikipedia, he played for clubs from 1995 to 2009 and got 31 caps and 2 goals for New Zealand from 1996 to 2007. New Zealand will play Ireland and Lithuania in November. OFC has not announced their World Cup Qualifying format.
