James is depth when everyone is healthy. Crucially, we need Bale to keep up his form from last week because he’s actually one of the few truly competing to start
I'm excited to see this lineup. It's a good gesture from Zidane to include James and Bale back in the squad, and show some flexibility. I think we're going to realize, as the season progresses, that Isco and James are ideal for this current lineup and Modric will need to be phased out.

The club had a sit down with Zidane to make him open his eyes and realize that they were unable to get rid of both Bale and James, as he requested, and as a result he will need to use them, which is what is happening now.
