"Quakes Face Tough Test in Los Angeles" (Center Line Soccer - Tuesday, 8/20/19) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I hate Unimas games. I pay for YouTube TV and ESPN+ and an HD antenna. I can't reliably get unimas. Which means I sometimes have to stream through twitter and their video streaming is the worst! Worst of all I end up with no recording of the game which means I can't watch it again. For example I have no way to watch the Chicago game where Wondo scored 4 and broke the record. I was at the game so I kinda remember it but that's starting to fade already.
me too, seems ridiculous and self-defeating to broadcast any Quakes game on Spanish-speaking TV. What other major sport in the US does this? Also, we are going to get hammered.
There is no consistent and reliable way to stream games. Such is the status of MLS. I know very little Spanish but would rather listen to Unimas than LA homer announcers trashing our team. The Unimas announcers can insult our players/coach and I'll remain blissfully oblivious.

not the same though, fans have the English broadcast available in each of these cases. maybe I should've said 'exclusively'...I have no problem with sports being broadcast in other languages. I don't think it's great for fans or the growth of soccer in the Bay Area to drop the English broadcast for half these games.
I'm told there is an SAP function on your remote. The English-speaking dweebs interrupt every so often to let us know that. You will survive somehow. I personally prefer Spanish broadcasts to Taylor Twellman.
Use the SAP, and you get English. They're not good announcers, but they speak English. The Spanish network games are also the only ones available on free OTA broadcast, expanding the availability to cord-cutters and cord-nevers.
I'll try the SAP function but it seems hit or miss with that. of course its survivable, just not ideal, not for me anyway.
I have one for you, I'll drop it off tomorrow. Let me know if you want a Fuentes, Vega, Godoy,, Magnus, and Vako card as well. Or a strip of Tech Tattoos.
For those feeling unloved without a Wondo commemorative poster, I believe the FO has many more. Should have some available in Guest Services room at Avaya this Saturday for the Whitecaps game.
Starters: Vega, Lima, Jungwirth, Kashia, Lopez, Godoy, Yueill, Rios, Vako, Espinoza, Hoesen. I think Kashia is captain. Bench: Tarbell, Cummings, Salinas, Luis Felipe, Magnus, Fierro, Wondo.
Not a major shake up, but MA would do something if we know him a bit now. I'm glad he doesn't stand still. Not recalling last time Eriksson didn't start. Hoesen for Wondo seems a challenge at Danny. He needs to show well as I see him in bland form.
