https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/08/05/warshaw-players-and-management-all-24-teams-who-have-step Chicago Fire:The entire Chicago FO/Ownership The Fire need about 2.22 points per game to make the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs by my calculations. Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? LAFC have earned 2.25 points per game this year. It might be time for Chicago to look toward 2020. On their roster, they have what would be either a foundational piece, a valuable asset, or just a decent squad player. It would be nice to know going in 2020 which of those categories Mihailovic fits into. Changed who/what needs to step up.
that would require some kind of plan. the fire don't plan ahead. they throw a bunch of crap at the wall that looks good, but aren't sure it it is going to end up a jackson pollock or a kindergarner fridge painting. if they had a plan, we wouldn't have to recomplete half the roster every year.
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/08/08/bogert-grading-all-24-teams-secondary-transfer-window Chicago Fire: D (We got the lowest grade) There was talk of a fire sale this summer in Chicago if things didn't turn around. Well, things didn't turn around, typified by a week with back-to-back home games against FC Cincinnati and Columbus Crew with just one point gained, yet no fire sale transpired. Just Mo Adams, who had made only five starts this season before being traded. Jonathan Bornstein, 34-year-old fullback, and Michael Azira, a soon-to-be 32-year-old defensive midfielder, were the only players added. A promising yet inconsistent and unbalanced roster remained essentially intact, and the team has now drifted to eight points below the playoff line with three non-playoff spots to jump. They were neither buyers nor sellers this summer. Expect much more movement this winter, when the club can open all three DP slots. He completely SUCKS at his job.
Hes a mothballer. Its all a big wind down to Joe owning a new MLS team. Its as if the Fire hired one of Terry Pratchett's corporate vampires.
These new office hires are corporate shills like before that brought us the tiki torch parade and fire pits.
https://seatgeek.com/philadelphia-u...-hot-dogs-tickets/mls/2019-08-17-7-pm/4672203 Isn't Fan Appreciation Night usually on the last game of the season?
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...ger-brian-rodriguez-spurred-other-offers-lafc Only if we had this kind of FO/Ownership.....One of their DP's leaves, what do they do? Wait and make excuses all the players they were looking at fell through. No they go out and sign another young DP to replace him.
It's not the last game of the season? Maybe they figured it would be the "official" play-off elimination game, so effectively the last game.
Oh, and by the way, f*ck Nelson Rodriguez with 6 Ruiz. I will leave it to your imaginations about how...
Our eliminated number is 11, all the teams ahead us except DC have played 1 or 2 games less than us #6 New England and #7 Toronto have played 2 games less). We can't catch Atlanta and Philadelphia, both have 48 points our max we can get is 48, even if somehow we win out and they both lose out they would have the tie breaker.
I'm using @xtomx words here: This prick still has a job. This prick still has a job. This prick still has a job. The end of the season cannot come soon enough, if they get rid of him after the season.
He's not quitting. He's getting a pay check, regardless. For him to go away it will take Andi to fire him. #FvckYouAndi
Has anyone, anywhere EVER used "blissful" and "NIU football" in the same sentence? We do not often seen new ground broken, but may just now.
