Seriously? They need to stop with this crap. Lots of reasons a player doesn’t become one of the 10 best on the planet.
I think that was the Liverpool problem with that play. It appeared that no one knew who should really pick up CP.
I think if healthy Kante needs minutes to get match fit (what an impact he had on that game against Pool) but Pedro and Jorghino may sit against Leicester. I expect Pulisic with 75 mins after 15 against ManU sets Lampard up perfectly to start him and go 70 to 90 against Leicester. Plus Kante as well (who in the grand scheme of pre/early season has very fresh legs) should go 70 versus Leicester.

He will be a massive asset for Frank Lampard this season.” interesting comparison ....
I expect that person making the comparison will share a video when Pulisic scores an insane flying header in a World Cup. EDIT: Nevermind, that was Robin Van Persie I was thinking of. Carry on.
Yeah, it's a weird comparison. Robben is probably the best example of a top wide player where it was easy to predict which way he was going to go.
Well, you never knew if he was gonna cut left or go straight moment to moment That was the devastating thing about his dribble: You *knew* hew was gonna cut left... but in which instant? And how many times?
The problem was that he did it at a million miles per hour and while he tended to he left, he could also juke left and go straight - while maintaining his million mph pace. That’s kinda hard to defend. At 20, he was possibly the best dribbler in the prem
Robbed could go right. It was the cutting left to shoot that people couldn’t stop even though they were anticipating it above all else. Pulisic has more dribbling variety, but developing a Robben-like shot is the last thing he needs to peak as an individual. And there’s no guarantee he can do that, no matter how much time he puts into it.
Every articles I've found, praises Pulisic for his performance against Liverpool. He's getting the love. Hopefully he keeps it up. Lampard seems to think Pulisic is gonna get better, and better.
if he performs well against Leicester - I would imagine that the Shed End folks are going to be happy with him.
Maybe, but not holding up his run for an extra nanosecond was absolutely criminal, inexcusable, unforgivable ...
https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation...sults-against-liverpool-and-manchester-united “It was harsh on us. A few things just didn’t go our way, a few decisions and in the end, to lose on penalties, that’s just how it goes. But we can be really proud of how we played. I don’t feel that we had a fair result at Old Trafford either. We’ve been creating enough chances to win these games and we just have to keep going and keep fighting.”
