I hope the team can use the momentum and confidence from the last game to push thru the travel issues and win in BC.

Will Lucho and Wayne feel better, will the former feel a need to show Ben that he should always be included in the roster? Will he be rested and reinvigorated, or the allegedly sullen and petulant when things don't go his way Lucho?

Would it be better to take a luxury bus or two rather than a commercial flight? ;) You could get out and jog alongside cornfields while the bus goes and gasses up while traveling thru the midwest, keeping in top shape during the trip :)

I hope we continue gathering points, we dropped an awful lot of them the past month or two.

Is there some sort of ESPN+ free trial? I will be out of town in the mountains for this one - the place has no TV or telephones but advertises free wi-fi :)

I can watch the NASCAR race on the NBCSN site. I don't think DTV has a way for me to watch DirectKick on their site.

    DCU - 3
    Van - 2
someone ends the game with 10 men

Why the hell is it censoring the word Blame? ;) ;)

They usually promote a 7 day free trial.

Are we going to see Kamara and Boateng Saturday?

Who was the guy shorter than Acosta warming up Sunday?

Maybe Boateng? I think he's rather short. Yow isn't so big either, but I think he's taller than Lucho.
All three of those guys were on the bench. Yow is white with curly hair. Boateng I think is Ghanaian.

I appreciate your commitment to working in shots on Lucho even when he has nothing to do with the actual question.

Yes, I recognized Yow. Didn't know who the other guy was for sure.

Boateng was on the bench Sunday night. So was Gordon Wild.

I'm [not David Stokes] stoked to be going to the game!!! Members of the Left Coast Legion will be there. I'm not sure I'd put Acosta back out there yet. Maybe sub him in at 65 if we need a spark. But damn he better show it.

Agreed and the idea that he could have the kind of season he's having and he wonders how he might end up on the bench is dubious to me. No way you can play at his current level and still expect to be an automatic stater, even with the current lack of talent on the bench.

Do we know that Kamara's paperwork is in order? I would expect Goff to report it if he is finally eligible to play.

Maybe start Ameriqua (sp) after his great effort Sunday and plan to sub Kamara in. Rooney may warrant a sit after 70 minutes or so on artificial turf.

Dude needs to figure out what he's got to do to continue to play like that. While it wouldn't make him an automatic starter, being a pest, hustling after every ball and creating some havoc in a defense will keep him in this league for a while. At the end of the day, a guy like him needs to be netting some goals too and perhaps playing in a 2 striker system.

I fully expect Ben to play with 8 defenders, including Felipe (may his bones be crushed) playing against the team that just let him go.

I suspect Amerikwa will be rewarded with the start and then be replaced by Acosta when he reverts to his mean.

Vancouver has only won one league game (and that against Cincinnati) since early May.

There's really no reason DCU can't go into Vancouver and get all 3 points.

In fact, I think 3 points here is easier to get than 3 points at home against NYRB on Wednesday.

I'm confused by all of this possession. I'm sure the team is too.
