I'd say we got an incremental update: 10/10 ground breaking, $244.9M price tag, all of the stadium land is now owned by the franchise. Not flashy or stadium pron, but it's something.
Just reading some stadium news from around the world and thought about something I'd like to see in new stadium. At least one section of the stadium be referred to as the Lamar Hunt Stands - probably makes sense to have it be the larger side. Supporters Section should just be referred to as Nordecke. Maybe we can also have a shitter referred to as the Anthony Precourt Seats. Of course that bathroom will not have paper towels or toilet paper (bring your own) and the stall doors will not have doors and the toilets will leak.
I've actually made this argument for awhile now. We should have certain sections of the stadium/stands named after important Crew historical figures. And even the gates. The Lamar Hunt Plaza, the McBride Stands could be sections 20-25, etc (I'm making up section numbers, the Hejduk stands could be other sections.... The Sigi Schmid gate could be the supporter's entrance gate since he was so instrumental in forming the Nordecke and instilling some supporters group unity, etc.....
I personally think that is overkill. Ring of honor is sufficient for those people. Now if we want to have something honoring Urso, that would be cool.
But but but how will we ever have an authentic European football atmosphere if each section of the stands doesn't have a special name that confuses the average casual fan?
Silly names aside, one more substantive, potential change is that the "Nordecke" might become the "Nordende" if, as implied, the supporters section ends up extending across the entire north end of the stadium.

Also, every gameday, one Crew fan drinks for free. The bartender, wearing a Clint Dempsey nametag, rips up your tab.
Also, we need to be able to laugh at ourselves. You can show off your dazzling footwork/make a complete idiot of yourself on the Steve Clark Dancefloor.
How about two Nordecke sections east end , west end hell why stop there just give the other corner sections a different name . We need to be a much louder fan base in 2021 Naming sections and areas is a good idea until you give one a bad name go to the Precourt section when you need to drop a deuce .
Sounds like we will have some issues with setting up a proper queue for ordering food, as people who are clearly out of the line will still be allowed to move ahead
