Was Guti ever a leader on the pitch? i don’t recall..I dont think he ever was Not sure what attributes would make him a good candidate to coach the first team.
What does being a leader on the pitch have to do with managing personality and installing a successful system?
You have to be from a different planet in terms of bizarre to think that Guti hasn't seen all the ups and down of football enough to be competent in recognizing and resolving situations. At least he's not somebody that joined us as a meal ticket and we have to call a legend now.
I look for leadership skills as the most important value to lead and impose a given system into our first team players. This is why I asked if he had any and apparently he has none based on your answer.
...or you don't know what you're talking about and have made a strong stance just to be argumentative per usual.
Zidane wasn't the leader on any team he ever played in other than the national team. A great player and an example, but the leaders were others. Not at Juve, not in Madrid. Salut.
Didn’t Zidane come out of National team retirement just to lead France to the world cup final in 2006? If I recall correctly he was the captain of that team and they did pretty good actually.. Was Guti ever a captain in anything ?
Does that change what I said? You could argue that the best coaches had less potential as leaders while they were playing. Sometimes it's better to shut up and listen, which is what many great players did while they played. Ramos is an idol and a historic leader. Do you give him a lot of chances as a coach after his active career?
Even more when the coach we bring as an example wasn't a leader at his club career either. Being double wrong equals out the wrongs.
Carvajal is suspended for the game agains Celta.....Odriozola most likely to start,in my opinion Odriozola is another Teo just not good enough.
From a not ideal situation comes a drop of decent news: three free to air LaLiga games in the UK starting tomorrow. https://t.co/1EcVTwDypB— Lee Roden (@LeeRoden89) August 15, 2019 The good news? We haven't reached a point where there's no Spanish football at all on UK TV yet. The bad news obviously is it's only one match per weekend, three times.... but hopefully that time can be used to secure something broader.— Lee Roden (@LeeRoden89) August 15, 2019
Man the UK sure hates Spanish football it seems. Apparently DAZN will not launch in the UK because the market was considered ultracompetitive which drives prices up.
The UK live Spanish football. It’s why it’s been a mainstay on Sky for last 15/20 years. It’s just the fact that companies like SkY and Virgin are becoming more and more greedy they want for peanuts while putting more money on the consumers. I cancelled virgin and got IPTV. Either way I’m sorted but I feel for those who just can’t afford the sports packages.
Facebook streams La Liga in India. So those in UK can watch RM matches without lagging streams if they use VPN and open La Liga page on Facebook with Indian ip.
Our fantastic medical department cleared Brahim to train with the group from his pre season injury. He’s now injured again with another muscle injury. He’s out 4-5 weeks. Absolute props to our fantastic medical team and physios. Top notch.
So a guy who has never had an significant injury history comes here and within 6 months has suffered reoccurring injuries. Yet a few here will have you believe it is Zidane and his fitness trainer at fault. Definitely not our pathetic medical staff. So obvious we do little to nothing for recovery after sessions. So obvious we rush players back to avoid backlash, instead of taking time.
