I would never trust Juve about anything. If Lo Celso and Dybala join Spurs, the EPL will become much more exciting.

Now Sky Italia is saying that Dybala wants to stay and fight for a spot. So, there are conflicting stories. The summer market closes in England a couple weeks. We’ll get an answer during this period.

I heard L. Martinez played well vs PSV in the dutch super cup. Hope he keeps on developing and replace Otamendi in the team. Hopefully he and Tagliafico can play together regularly and develop chemistry.

Not sure how much truth there’s in it, but Bein (and Italian press) are reporting that Dybala’s move to Man Utd is close to happening

I guess the report is his brother/agent is in England to discuss the deal.

Juve fans, even the ones bashing Dybala are not happy about this. It is basically, Dybala plus cash for Lukaku. They don’t want to an event swap let lone a player+cash. Also, this could simply be a ploy. Inter have also be in contention singing the Belgian international but they’ve been dragging their feet and United and Juve probably want Inter to drop more money on Lukaku. This also effects Icardi, who also wants to play only for Juve(supposedly). I don’t think he wants Napoli, so the rumor is he may just collect his pay and not play(a big LOL).

I hope Dybala doesn’t go to United. I mean he’ll join Pogba who he has a good rapport with but also there are rumors he’ll leave United as well. Spurs would be ideal but they also want Lo Celso and doubt they’ll spend big money on both. Daniel Levy doesn’t seem like a chairman who spends on players. Last year was an example who didn’t spend a dime.

Armani stepped up once again for River. He made some crucial saves away v Cruzeiro including two saves in the PK shootouts.

So the Dybala situation.... It appears he doesn’t want to go to United. The rumor is that he wants 10ME a year and a 15ME bonus to his agent, which is his brother. United also has a policy where if they don’t make the CL the players salaries get cut by 25%. I haven’t heard about this before but that is kinda crazy and Dybala is not happy about this either. Plus, who the hell wants to live in Manchester? Our players have always struggled for United. He’s being linked to wrong team in that city.

Juve appears to be trying to make the move but Dybala is not budging. I don’t understand why Sarri Juve have such an interest in Lukaku...

The other rumor is that if he does leave, it won’t be to Inter but to PSG. He wants the EPL window to close so he can make the move. Personally, Ligue 1 is a bit of a joke and he’ll score plenty of goals but will it make him a better player? Neymar clearly wants out, Cavani will probably stay around and KM will probably be there for another year or two before breaking the transfer market record. So, he’ll get his shine, if somebody like ADM scores regularly for the Parisian side, Dybala should get close to 30 a season.

It is a complicated issue. Dybala needs to be very careful in what he does, he is at a crossroads, so I hope he makes the best choice that makes him happy and he gets the most of out it. He already wasted an entire year last season, he can’t afford another. Who does he think he is, Icardi?!:D

Juventus' message to Paulo Dybala: No point coming to the training ground, better to just wait for our call — reports.

    Horrible club.

Colidio could be on his way to Newcastle.
Lucas Boye is on his way to Reading.

I would’ve rather they went to some La Liga side(especially Colidio) instead of a couple middle of a table EPL side where they’ll struggle to adjust in many ways.

Dybala has basically told Juve to kick rocks and he’s not going to United. Good for him, they can’t force him to go.

    ——-

I’m also kinda concerned for our youngsters at Stuttgart. None of them have made the move to go out on loan or have been sold. I know many of us have/had high hopes for Ruso but I don’t know where he’ll improve playing in the second division. I guess continuity with a team and country is good but I would’ve like to see him continue to grow.

EXCLUSIVE: Cristiano Ronaldo told Paulo Dybala he MUST join Man United after the Argentinian asked his advice in a Juventus players' WhatsApp group - and now Lukaku looks set for move to Turin.

Ronaldo telling Dybala he will become a champion at Man Utd.

    —————

If Man U can hold on to Pogba (rumored to be going to RM), and Martial and Rashford develop more, they can perhaps challenge for a top 4 finish with Dybala.

Their defense needs an upgrade, but they also have some good youngsters coming through.

Could turn out to be an ok move for Dybala — especially if Solsjkaer plays attacking football.

I'm not expecting any Argentine to sign for MU. They never ever appreciate Argentine players. Tevez was huge success for them but SAF and the fans still never appreciate him. Apart from Heinze, every Argentines that signed to them always ended in sour notes. MU these days looks like Europa league material not CL.

On other news, Messi punishment has been handed and as expected its merely a 3 months ban. He'll miss few friendlies and first match of qualifier due to the red card, but that's about it.

Dybala should be more concerned where he plays and his long term career than looking at his bank balance. He is set up for life and his family given that he has been looking after them after the passing of his father.

Ideally he should join Tottenham. He has a empathetic coach there, fellow Argentines and he would be the marquee player alongside Kane.

Colidio to Newcastle ? He should have chances to play and it will be a test of character as much as anything else but grafting away at a club with no realistic chance of silverware at his age is fine. He needs to get an opportunity to play first team football. It will toughen him up.

No further news on Foyths ankle injury which is a real dampener. Yet another season could be interrupted just when he was getting on the verge of regular first team football.

All the reports are saying that United have given up on Dybala. That’s good news.

Not sure how good a manager Solksjaer is, but from what I've read he seems to miss the football that Man U played under Ferguson. That won't do nowadays, and if that's what he is going for he'll be lucky to make it to the Europa League.

So Colidio might be on his way to...Leeds. Atta-boy, pibe, leave Inter's B team for a second division side in England. Great choice...

I guess the only positive would be he would be working with Bielsa...

Foyth is out until September, so he'll miss the friendlies vs Mex and vs Chile. I hope he makes a quick 100% recovery. For these friendlies, it should give a great chance for someone like Saravia to give a good impression at the right back position.

Juve has accepted Spurs’ official bid.

Dybala would be really stupid if he were to say no.

Spurs will be much better for him than PSG, and Juve has already shown they absolutely want him out.

I really dislike the footballing transfer market. For weeks and even months you have players being linked to this club, that club, he’ll stay... he won’t. I mean get on with it already. Sports here in the States, free agency starts and ends quickly. Quit dragging it out. I know the dynamics are different with a million players and former clubs trying to get a piece but I wish they cut the window much shorter. Or don’t have a transfer window, let it be continuously open. But don’t wait till the last 2-3 days for you to quickly decide on things.

With that rant being over. If Dybala does end up at Tottenham then what happens to Lo Celso? Stays at Betis? He was apparently training with them again. A bit of downer.

So Lo Celso to Tottenham is getting closer. Should be done by tomorrow.

Dybala is a complicated issue. Not sure if it could worked out by the closing of the English transfer window. This is why I dislike the transfer window. People are dragging their feet until the last minute.

30 minutes into the semi-finals of the Pan-Am games we lead 2-0 v Uruguay. We are looking pretty good. First game I’ve watched so far of the tournament. But goals have come from Gaich and Valenzuela. Gaich apparently has 5 in 4 games.

Uruguay are now down to 10 men.

And that should do it... Gaich with another in the 84th min....

    3-0

You know for somebody being so damn big, Gaich works very hard. He’s a workhorse. Defenders have a hard time containing him. I think CASLA were smart to let him go to this tournament. He was already being linked to some European sides and I think if they’re still monitoring him in this tournament, I think they’ll go after him. He is a big, strong and even technical forward. Good on the ball and links up well with his teammates. If he can fix that aspect of choking in front of the net, he could be make an impact for a team. He’s got 6 in 4 matches in this tournament, so that is a start.

Off to the gold medal match v Honduras, who defeated Mexico earlier in a shootout.
