How many are healthy and rested at the moment?

Certainly not Canouse and (now) Durkin. I don't know that I'd call Rooney rested. Moreno, well, we didn't have him for tonight and won't the next match....

I left at halftime. I can't remember the last time I even left early. Olsen must go. It's not a matter of how much blame he deserves. As the saying goes, you can't fire the team. But firing the coach sends the message that accountability exists. The team was not ready to play tonight.

I have to admit, I took a little vacation time. So, I may not be up on all of the injuries/ player status. I agree that the scheduling has been tough for us. However, I thought that our last league game was a week ago and the next one is a full week from now? It seemed like Mora was healthy. He came in as an early sub. Could he have started? If so, I can't see why we could not have played with something close to our best 11.

    Jara-Brillant-Birnbaum-Mora
    Durkin-Moreno
    Arriola- Acosta-Rodriguez
    Rooney

I get that Durkin is not an ideal replacement for Canouse, but the team seems to look far more comfortable in the 4-2-3-1.

Am I missing something? As I said, this is very possible as I was a bit off the grid for a spell.

Point #1 was the exact same thing that happened when we got embarrassed at home by LA FC earlier this season. You'd think pro players would know not to turn the ball over in the center of the field in your own half.

Arriola left tonight with what looked like a hamstring injury, so I won't be surprised if he's out a couple of weeks. We're especially f##ked at defensive midfielder. Canouse got a collapsed lung last game, Durkin left with an ankle injury tonight, and Moreno got red carded.

This team is going to miss the playoffs unless some drastic changes are made very soon. Signing another starting level striker(something that should have been done before the season) isn't going to begin to solve all the problems this team has.

    Left at the half...

And the fact our field is already messed up and looks like a dirt bike track sure just adds insult to injury.

Pines was absolutely good awful in this game.

Never mind nobody could explain to me how to use my Fam voucher. What a joke.. just about had it with this club...

The grass looking like it did really does depress me. Next week we get to see beautiful fields across europe, and ours looks like this.

I get that we are totally screwed now.

I was commenting on the starting line up and formation for this game. I guess it is a moot point. Tactics and formations mean nothing if we have zero healthy (not suspended) D mids. The wheels have officially fallen off. It is hard to imagine getting any result in the next game.

I also agree that our playoff chances are now slim, unless we can add 2-3 starting caliber players (and soon). Why not start with Asad and Kamara? Or maybe trade Asad's rights to a team for a starting caliber Dmid? Just thoughts.

Olsen is a great guy and a shit coach. Everyone who cares to know knows this. He’s clearly lost the locker room. This is now a series of individuals going to the same job site. It’s not a team from what I can see.

We are and have been 2-3 players away from good for 18 months. They overperformed last year and thought that was going to happen again. Any injuries crush our ability to compete. But every team has injuries. Our second team just isn’t strong enough.

We’re frankly lucky Rooney has such integrity. He could easily just say ********it - im done with this nonsense. I’m done with the crap tactics and Acosta pouting and the lack of any other striker.

They will be pummeled by LA. If Philly crushed us and Moreno, Canouse, Arriola and maybe Durkin are out, hang on. We’ll likely put 11 behind the ball like in Atlanta and get abused at home.

It’s time to renew season tickets. Not exactly the marketing I’d choose. Only glad I didn’t bring my boys to this crap

That field was the final piece of evidence I needed to confirm that this ownership group gives zero fuxs about putting together a good team. They are going to do the minimum and sell when they can. The only other alternative is that they are absolutely delusional.

This is what happens when you have no leadership.

The good: Chris Odoi-Atsem was lively when he came in. And although I was at the stadium and therefore missed it, apparently Alejandro Bedoya used the corner microphone to good effect after scoring.

The bad: Every single thing else.

The ugly: Every single thing else.

Every single criticism I can think of to make about a soccer team applies here. Everything was awful.

And what the ******** was up with that hideous excuse of a pitch?

That was from the lacrosse sidelines weeks ago. The groundscrew wanted to replace the entire field. Instead they were only allowed to replace between the goals and it really shows over the rest of the field how much of a mistake that cheap decision was. The sideline was dust. Levien needs to be gone.

Olsen has to have lost the players. We've all seen how they can look like they don't give a ********, are pissed at each other or wonder what the ******** they are supposed to be doing for Olsen. Hamid was not happy with that sub and what wasn't happening with the defense and midfield prior to that sub.

Agreed. The field was very, very poor with sections of new sod across the entire middle of the field

I was at the stadium and left at the 70th minute. I can't remember a game that was that poor that I just left that early. Lots and lots of people were leaving early. That had to look bad on TV.

I don't understand how we can be seen as overmatched in the back, in midfield and upfront all at the same time.

I am almost tempted to eat my ticket for my Birthday 8/21 and not bother to go watch this shit show.

Defenders don't know what to do.

Midfielders give the ball away easily to the opposition.

Forwards (except Rooney) have zero imagination on how to create scoring chances.

Hamid make lots of saves but still misses the occasional sitter.

Subs are made in the 89th minute (this is one I will lay at Olsen's feet)

Our management team loans out our supposed crown jewel of a new field for rec kickball games then half asses the field repairs.

Why should I spend one dime on this club who does not really give one damn about me and my entertainment dollars.

even the TV product is lousy (see Flo TV crap et al)

Which is my plan for next Sunday if we are being destroyed by the half. I already don't go to a majority of the Wednesday and Sunday matches.

No 2020 season tic for me.

The new sod was the best parts of the field. I don't ever recall seeing the team play on a field in that bad of condition. There was some guy in an MLS badged polo short checking out the seems on the sod pre-game and he seemed happy with it. I have no idea what the minimum standard is to start a game in MLS, but it must be fairly low. Most of that field looked like it was in the kind of shape I'd expect to find in the rec league I play in down off of Ohio Dr by West Potomac Park.
