I think he'll be fine and will get the minutes in the near future. If Romero was brazuca or came from a sexy footballing team from Europe then I don't see him being loaned out, he would've played and they sure as hell would've paid more than 23ME for his services.

So what I think Juve are going to do is have a gradual transition with the likes of Bonucci and Chiellini who are going to be gradually phased out and then bring in Romero who will start with de Ligt. If Romero has another stellar season at Genoa then he'll be called.

Juve is clearly trying to change its image. Buying Cristiano last season, now purchasing the youngster from Ajax for a ridiculous amount of money. They would hardly ever make these type of moves if my memory serves me correct. They want to expand their brand and in a couple of years time, there probably won't be any Italian players starting for them on a regular basis may be Rugani or even Bernardeschi... Now there are talks that Neymar could be on his way(Which is just nonsense). I guess the gangsters that are the Agnelli's want something more than a crapload of Serie A titles.

Angel Correa could be on his way to Milan. There are reports that he’s agreed to in terms. It is reported that it will be close to...50ME....? the hell.... Lol...

He's no where near 50M, but if Milan wants to pay that much, then I hope that price tag helps him get lots of play time. In any case, he needs to leave Atletico as he's not going to get in front of Costa and Morata.

There's also been links with Zaracho with Milan for 20M. Apparently Maldini likes him.

He’s not and Milan supporters are shocked by that figure. Tucu Correa who I think is better, and Milan apparently balked at the notion of paying 40ME for him. So, something doesn’t seem right with that 50 million figure. It will seriously be highway robbery and I don’t think that type of pressure for Angel Correa is good either. But I do agree, he needs to get out of there. Cholo has zero idea how to develop youngsters.

Portuguese press claiming Sporting will put down the 16 million euros necessary to activate Thiago Almada's contract release clause.

It would be a shame, but it looks like the deal will be closed in the coming days. I have big hopes for this kid, hopefully he doesn't get lost in Portugal.

I thought City were interested in him as well since an official of City had come down to BsAs to speak to Velez reps.

The kid is very talented, so he needs to make the right choice where he can continue to develop.

    And even worse....

PSG has sent scouts to Buenos Aires to report on Exequiel Palacios' game today vs. Cruzeiro. God don't let that move happen!

Reports that CONMEBOL has sacked Tapia from being FIFA representative.

Not that it matters, but not sure how it will impact us in games.

Good. Now can they sack him from being an AFA representative?

Rumors that we might have Copa America 2020 taken away from us....

Here is the link that says Tapia has been removed specifically for his comments against CONMEBOL.

    https://www.tsn.ca/argentina-soccer-head-loses-fifa-post-over-critical-comments-1.1341128

Some reports saying Messi’s 1-game suspension and fine are only for the red card; that he will be suspended more for his comments.

Such a sorry, sorry organization CONMEBOL is — if they want to remove us from hosting Copa America and removing Tapia, whom I do not like but to remove him for just speaking.....ridiculous.

That punishment actually is about what I expected. Can you believe how much money FIFA, AFA and all sponsors would lose if Messi does gets 2 year supsension? ...Beside, his words are nothing compare to what Maradona's said after we qualified to WC 2010

$1500 for Messi would be like me throwing $2 to vending machine.

Yeah, but what they are saying now is that fine is only for the red card, and that he will be further punished for his comments.

    Not sure if true.

I highly doubt it. Technically its CONMEBOL that needs to be punished and investigated. The replay clearly shows the accident shouldnt involve any red card for both players. That shit happen almost on regular basis in football game.

I've seen players like Kily Gonzales , Gatusso, Materrazi, Mascherano and even Demichellis having similar type of confrontation during the game many times , the red card clearly a farce.

Medel probably had a short temper cause he couldnt believe a midget like Messi is taller than him.

Those Chilean mems always crack me up.

As for all of this drama concerning the CA, I think it is just that, drama. I don't think they're gonna make drastic moves. I doubt they'll take away the CA from us, if they did, I wouldn't surprised if our players don't go out of protest.

[TNT Sports] | In the next few hours a new friendly could be confirmed between Argentina and Brazil.

Although it is not yet confirmed, the match would be played during the November FIFA Date in Saudi Arabia.

The tentative day could be on the 14th of November.

Sarri has already come out and said that Dybala will play as a false 9 and other positions. I’m not sure if Spurs can afford him either, especially that Juve slapped a price tag of a 100 ME on him. He’d be interesting in Poch’e team but I doubt this is feasible. He’ll probably end up staying, especially if Juve don’t land Icardi. They won’t have much options in the forward department.

“Next Tuesday: the other penalty to Messi for the statements he made. It will be 2-6 months, but since his statements, to meet FIFA date. He could not play the friendlies or the first date of Qualifying.” — from Argentine sources.

Messi will probably not be able to play against Chile and Mexico (Sept friendlies), Germany (Oct friendly), Brazil (Nov friendly), and 1st match of Qualifying in March - if punishment is for 6 months.

Spurs apparently got a $400million deal with their existing shirt sponsor, and Pochettino has been told he is free to spend on Lo Celso and Dybala.

Also, seems like friendlies against Brazil and Saudi Arabia in Saudi Arabia are set for November — but we could lose out on millions of dollars if Messi doesn’t play due to the ban.

Sari has told Dybala that he will not be first choice.

“‘La Joya’ is considering leaving Turin after chatting with Sarri. The Italian does not guarantee the minutes the player is looking for, so the player opens the door to a hypothetical transfer.“

The way Juve has treated Dybala has been utterly sad. He needs to get out of that club.

But Juve does that to their own always, Roberto Baggio, Del Piero....

Juve supposedly offered Dybala for Lukaku but this doesn’t make sense. United would be a terrible move for him.

But rumors are saying that Dybala is one the one making the push to leave. I don’t think he wants to play in the shadow of Ronaldo and Ronaldo clearly takes away from him.

It is not United where he wants to go it is Tottenham.
    —————/
Until now it had been thought that Dybala, 25, wanted to remain in Turin and prove he can play a major role for the club going forward.

But according to Tuttosport, that position has changed after the Argentina star held talks with Juve manager Sarri about his future.

Though Sarri has publicly claimed he can see a role for the forward in his side as a false number nine, it appears Dybala is less convinced.

And it is claimed he has said yes to the prospect of making the move to Tottenham, if the London club can match the £80m valuation the Serie A champions have put on him.

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...tottenham-transfer-talks-juve-maurizio-sarri/

Tottenham would be a much better move. I think Poch can get a lot out of him but Dybala needs to want it. If the rumor is true, he wants to move out of Juve because he doesn’t trust Sarri or play in the shadow of Ronaldo then he does want it.

So the Almada story is kinda interesting. City have agreed to pay out the money for the kid’s services. However, it is rumored that Velez want him to renew so they can sell him for a higher price but apparently Almada has yet to do so. Perhaps if he does renew and the price goes up then City won’t sign him, so the kid is in a weird spot. However, if the deal is hashed out, he will be going to Sporting Lisbon on loan for two seasons. Girona was initially the team he was gonna go to but they were relegated, so this means that this deal has been in place for months now.
