Goofy is simply someone who craves attention...any attention. In fact, in receiving all the attention we are now giving him, he has already attained what he wanted. His comments are designed to create controversy -and sometimes outrage- and thus supply him with his daily attention fix. There is no need for proof or disproof; there is no desire for authentic dialogue; further, there is no challenge to intellectual discourse....It's only a game, a game that -as I stated above- is designed to generate more attention towards him. In some significant ways, he is an uclacarlos of sorts....except that his megalomania is not as acute as the latter's.
